Wow, I have only read a few posts so far but I love how the "Medical" users feel they are so far superior to anyone using for recreational purposes. Nice guys. You think it's OK for you because you have some trumped up illnesses, but Heaven forbid if someone just wants to relax and get high.
That's all that it appears to be. :spew:
Bunch of hypocrites. Weed will become a major issue once 25 states agree to decriminalize it. So send letters to your state legislature if you live in a state that hasn't decriminalized it. Pure. Simple. Now quit being a bunch of dickwad internet hardasses who think their shit doesn't stink.bongsmilie

Nice of you "others" to say that those who use for medicinal purposes have trumped up problems.

So, I have an idea. How about this? How about YOU take on my back and hip pain, leaving ME pain free for the rest of my life? Eh? Sounds like a great deal to me! I'll have the moral burden of smoking recreationally, and you'll have the ability to get your med card because you'll be fucking hurting like hell. And it'll be pretty much constant, waking you up from sleep, which will never be a deep sleep because you hurt too fucking much. I will sleep like I haven't in YEARS, because I won't have pain anymore. And YOU'LL have that all-important medical card that seems to be so desperately desired. :D Win-win!

Then, I'll come back, pain free of course, and say that I just like to get high and will continue taking the risk that I've been taking for over 30 years, instead of asking people who are actually suffering how to fake that I'm suffering like them in a manner that will help bring about the destruction of the medical mj movement. I'll just keep smokin', cuz I LIKE IT. bongsmilie Win-win!

well sea maden that was a nice suggestion, to bad it will never happen. so if u aint got nothin that pertains to his question on how to obtain a medical card w/o being horribly sick with constant back pain (which for some reason you are only smokin weed to help with it instead of undergoing a surgery which would more than likely help ur back pain?) then dont give ur opinion. Exaggerating is common among smokers. dont u think?

Don't believe the hype. I had a 2 level spinal fusion done 2 years ago and guess what, I still have the chronic nerve pain! Made the doc and the hospital a cool $100k though, so I guess it served its purpose.

just because you can get a surgery that i'm sure will help but it's not going to fix it completly, your going to be in pain forever, those who dont have to live with that type of pain will never realize whats it like not to go one day with out pain, just like kj said, all your really doing is making the doctor a fuckin ton of money, and still in pain.

since when does one have to be "suffering" to get a med card. you can get a card for PMS. you can get a card for headaches. if it were such a BIG DEAL wouldn't they have made it a little harder to get one?

anybody ever spoken with dennis peron? he helped write prop 215. i know how he feels, i met him. :)

does one's level of pain determine their status in the medical marijuana community? does one get more sympathy or better treatment at cannabis clubs if they hurt more then the next guy? how much pain exactly does one have to be in to be "legit"?

the law in my state says "ANY AILMENT", .......... Minor ailments and illnesses - Health Encyclopaedia - NHS Direct

DR my moles are growing. gimme some pot, man. :)
you know they make cannabis skin creams? they sell then at the club. you use it like aloe.

Are you trying to say that PMS isn't a condition people suffer from? Or are you trying to minimize the condition or the experience of menses? :?

How on earth does that apply to what you quoted, or relates to what's being discussed? I can see you've been waiting to do something to get back at me for calling you out on the Prop. 8 thing, and hey, have at it. But for it to be effective it's got to make sense. :)

I think it's wrong to stereotype med users or anyone else, especially from within the community. So, when people act like medical mj isn't "real" or is ineffective, or that one can and should be able to make up illnesses in order to legally smoke something that others are alleging doesn't really work, well, I think that undoes what was worked towards. I think it minimizes the very real experiences of people in real pain, who experience real relief with ingestion (whatever their preferred mode or application).

How is that hypocritical, and what on earth does it have to do with my own stance on governmental definition of marriage as a psuedo-religious institution and making that, in pursuit of happiness, the right of all despite sexual orientation or number of partners? How does it all relate, fdd?

tina fey says "gotcha" as a parody to sarah palin. i googled imaged "gothca palin" and saw that pic. i just thought it was funny. i'm an idiot.

you don't get it, eh? it's about personal freedom. if you can't see how they relate then i can't help you understand. you are smarter then me so, ........... :-|

was i minimizing PMS? wtf are you talking about? i was listing condition that many people suffer from. common things. did i not say headaches as well? i see where you are spinning this. lessons from lacy. you pop off as if your pain is more deserving than others. do you honestly feel your medical marijuana is threatened? every year more states approve it yet you scream caution. your bucket has holes. show me something to back the fact that "fakers" threaten your right to pot. anything.

Addiction is classified as a medical illness. Tell ur doc ur addicted and see what he/she says. LOL! :weed: But really do what u got to do to get the card. I would personally rather be in pain and free, than be in jail and able to do back flips!

I wasn't saying that medical card users trump up their problems to get a card. I was simply agreeing with him about so many of the card carriers on this site act as if they're superior to this guy asking about how he can get one. I don't doubt your pain, just as you can't doubt mine. We don't know anything about each other, however for people to get all uptight about this guy asking how to get his even though he's healthy is ridiculous.

Yeah he's healthy and all and he's trying to get his card. BFD, how many other people have prescriptions for pain killers and it's a questionable reason, same deal. What makes specific people so special that they deserve it more than x, y, and z? Weed should be decriminalized and legalized. While we're at it, distribute it across the mid-east, asias, africa and maybe end the centeries of wars while we're at it. :peace:

Aint gonna read 18 pages, but insomnia is a fool proof excuse. You don't have to have previous medical records, any physical ailments, just have to feed them a couple lines. Tell them youve taken over the counter sleeping pills for years and they hardly help, and cannabis helps you the most.

They can't prove you don't have insomnia either, some of these idiots try to go in claiming muscle spasm or glaucoma. Once they fail to produce records, they are assed out, and look like idiots too.

Why anyone would say that only people with legitimate medical problems should get medical cannabis?

We all deserve to enjoy our plant free of consequences. If you can take the legal problems out of growing and smoking your cannabis by faking an illness, why not?

why not?.......you said it yourself. the ones that get cought at the " faking " get theirt asses booted out.
so you dont htink that if that continues and will obviously get worse from what i see here, that would maybe make them look at what they are doing or make it harder to get acard for the legit people.
i`m not saying someone with a SERIOUS sleep problem shouldn`t get it.

i dont know you but and your rules in the states but up here the big concern is would be over run by major bike gangs. whio do you think is running the majoroty of the trade now, and you dont think they are bullying people to get cards and work for them so there operartion is legit.

thats what the issue is here. i have talked with some high up people in this and that is exactly why we it has taken so long.

if we wanted to lagalize any thing we wanted to do, why not legalize bank robery. i sure do like the money. or for the sick fuks out there that are child didlers they have an illness that causes them to do this sometimes so hell lets legalize it to so the poor fuk dont end up in prison. hell that would be cheeper to and less crowding in prison

We are better because we followed the system verses trying to manipulate the system. If he would listen to what we have said instead of trying to create holes in the system he would already be legal.I have personally checked all his posts to be sure I wasn't being rude first. The only thing I keep hearing is how to beat the system(or cheat it).:wall:

biker gangs are gonna take over. funniest thing ever.

i'm a SICK med card holder and i could careless if someone is faking or not. i have been in the medical scene for 5 years and have NEVER seen ill effects from fakers. you all are just spreading rumors and making stuff up. you have NO PROFF that faking an illness hurts legitimate patients in any way. got a link to a news article or ANYTHING? i keep asking.

this makes NO sense. is there ANY case where bank robbery or child diddling is legal. cause there are legal medical marijuana states. your comparison is ridiculous.

once again, i spoke with dennis peron, he helped write prop 215. they intentionally wrote it to say "ANY AILMENT" so anybody could get it. pay attention stoners. seems a lot of you med user have slipped to the recreational side and gotten yourselves just a little too high.:mrgreen::peace:
