Totally healthy, can I still obtain a medical card?

If you'll notice, I'm not questioning anyone as to whether or not they have something that ails them. Nor am I asking for advice on how to deal with mine. I am pointing out a distinction that I make, which is a difference in concept between "any ailment", which rather automatically implies that you have an ailment, and falsifying or making one up, which by default means you haven't got one or you wouldn't be making one up.
I would like to understand how one is extrapolated to mean the other, because I don't see it.

Was the link on Mr. Peron supposed to answer this question? Are you saying that he advocated falsification of health issues in order to obtain medical cannabis products (not the hemp based stuff you can buy at Walmart)?

everyone has an ailment. dude didn't realize there is no reason to lie. is that so hard to understand? the laws says "any ailment". they wrote it this way so ANYONE could get a card. it's like talking to a third grader. are you really this slow or are you just yankin' my chain? did you notice dennis is gay? so much for your homophobe therory, dude is one of my heroes. :blsmoke::blsmoke:

you said "extrapolate". ut oh, big words.:mrgreen:

i hope you take no offence from all this. i just can't believed you jumped so quick on calling me names. it will be awhile before i shake that off. sticks and stones, you know. i honestly held you higher than a "name caller".:neutral:

peace, i'm out. i've said it all at least twice. :peace:

The title to the thread reads 'totally health, can I still obtain a medical card?' what is the confusion here folks? Simple answer is NO, you need to have an ailment that marijuana is beneficial to get a card. If you don't understand this very simple language you don't really deserve a recommendation, it is the same type of language that separates prescription from recommendation.

Are there 'pot doc's' sure are, where they are IDK, can't tell you and if I did know I wouldn't want to put someone at risk (as little as I think it really is) by listing them without their knowledge or promote a person that probably is best left as word of mouth or um  on-line in one of the many listings a google search would turn up.

If you don't like the laws start telling your politicians to change the laws! It isn't anyones fault on this site that they are what they are and arguing about them here does very little to change them.

One thing we should all keep in mind is, this is a very real medication for some people and should be allowed to be so. Those that like it more on a recreational basis should be less willing to flaunt fake rec's in the face of those that could enforce existing laws or give ammo to those that can and be more willing to pick up a phone or send a simple email to the local elected officials to make it ok for those that just wanna get 'stoned'. Get a Rec and be safe, make enough calls or send enough emails and maybe you don't need to renew and those that need it most, get insurance to flip the bill for the medicine that works...

if you read it right i said sick fuks in there. so to me that dont sound like i am like that. not a chance. someone earlier said they feel they should have the right to do anythinhg they felt the desire to do, that it should be legalized. so i was being sarcastic. sorry for the missunderstanding.

i have already said i dont know your laws down there as you dont have a clue about things here either.

i dont care who has the baddest gangs. you must agree the gangs are the bigest members in the drug trade?? so once it becomes legal everywher you dont think they would lean on people to grow or whatever for them. they do it now to get young people to deal and shit for them dont they.
it would seem to me it would just open a door for them if we are not carefull and think it through.
If Cannabis were legalized, and a gang was pressuring people to grow from them, you'd be able to go to the police a make a complaint against them, and the police would then investigate and stop this (one would hope).

As it stands pot heads and weed growers get almost NO protection from the authorities, simply because to seek said protection would be to large of a risk (I know I personally would never call the police to my property if I was the victim of say a theft for example).

You don't seem to realize that as long as you address me in a condescending manner you're gonna get it handed right back to you, fdd. The more I read of your posts and responses, the more I see that your own reading comprehension is not exactly "up to par". Be sure to tell your "hero" how you plan to vote. If you can, how about you help me get in contact with him so you don't have to use red letters, and I'll ask him myself: Does "any ailment" equate "fake an ailment"? Because I've been doing some reading, and I don't see it. I see "any ailment" as just that.
you said "extrapolate". ut oh, big words.:mrgreen:
I have been waiting for this one! Just as I predicted. I knew it would only be a short time to come after "you think too much."

More than twice. You really mean that, that you hope I take no offense? Forgive me for being a little incredulous at this point, because what and how you post seems to be very much tied to your moods.

Re-read, carefully, what I posted in that thread, fdd. I questioned you, pointed a few inconsistencies out, and asked for clarification. I also pointed out what you sound like, which does not equate to making declarative statements, "You are this, you are that." I said, "This sounds like _____________." You then accused me of calling you names, and I iterated the first time, I call it like I see it and it's based on your posts. If that equals name-calling for you, then how would I change your mind? Do I have to say, "Nuh uh, no I didn't!" for you to see and understand that I did not actually call you anything?

You then told me how I had no idea and didn't know, so I asked, "What don't I know? I only know what you put out for us to read." You never answered. Was this it? That your hero is gay? Is there something more?

I called it like I saw it, fdd, I always have and I always will. You have an issue with gays being allowed to marry and used your own choices in your life as the example for why they should not be afforded the same right of choice you have. I disputed that idea. You brought up tradition and sanctity, yet by your own words and your own life you have scoffed in the face of tradition and sanctity. I thought I had been very clear that I do not judge you for your choices, but pointed out that there are indeed those who would. And many of those people would consider your living situation to be only marginally "better" than allowing gays to marry.

Both Miss Hester and I have asked you what kind of insurance provides for non-married, adult dependents, because we both have family members we'd love to get onto our insurance (she her adult children, and I my father-in-law, and next May my youngest son). You never answered. What you don't know about me is that I know how it works because I've done it. The first year my 2nd husband and I were together we had a son. However, I refused to marry just because I was pregnant. So, my oldest boy was just over 1yo when we finally were married. In the meantime, however, he put me on his insurance as well as the child. How'd we do that? We told them we were married when we weren't. What's that called? I call it lying.

I take no offense at being intellectually challenged, or if I'm being inconsistent, or close-minded, or not thinking something through completely and having that pointed out. I do take offense when someone is condescending towards me, and I do not accept being treated in that manner.

Oh my just got through reading the entire body of posts since my initials way back when. Let me say this, Sea Maiden-I've seen the pics of your deck and read about your plans for your new grow room etc. If I could stay home and mess about with growing that much weed I might just trade you for my life of being "healthy" having to go to work for 12-14 hours per day and getting beat the fuck out of so I can come home and listen to kids bitch and pay bills and go do it all again 6 days a week. Then come home and drink whatever's around to self medicate so I can sleep and forget about that last day. Because you see if I ever got caught with THC in my system I could lose my job and make things 100x worse than they currently are.

So if I could stay home and grow weed, watch TV, call/text people all day, and do whatever I wanted I think I could deal with the pain. Also sitting sedintary, babying yourself is certainly not going to help you recover. Do some physical exercise and start to act as if you were not in pain. The more you think about your problems, the more likely they are to persist because your brain is making it so for your body. If you "want" to smoke weed by all means do, just don't pretend it's the only thing that works for you and hide behind a doctor's note.
LMAO! That's what you think it is? Personally, I think you're wasting your life if you'd plan on sitting around jaw-jacking on the phone or texting all day. I'm sorry you've got a job that requires you to have no THC in your blood, and believe it or not I wouldn't even be such a smart-ass as to say, "Get another job!" It is what it is and you do what you have to.

However, for you to take some photographs and build an entire life that you know nothing about is out of line. I raised my kids, thank you very much. I have worked my ass off, and I still have bills. My job situation would be different if I could just figure out how to force someone to hire me.

But, seeing as how you know nothing of my conditions or my medical status, how is it that you seem to think that you have any place giving me any advice whatsoever? What would you know about them, about me, what I'm doing or not doing?
Answer: Nothing. And lastly, wannabe, if you experienced the kind of pain I'm talking about on a 24/7/364.25 basis (including leap years), with absolutely no relief, you might not be so quick to want to trade places with me. At least it's not terminal, so I'll be living a good long time with my aches and pains.

lol .. well ... moving across the entire country or move to canada ... is a big step !
LOL, though you might be in a med state if you were asking that question.

In that case, do what I did before I got my card, and do some guerilla shit. I would've smoked schwag if I didn't grow my plants in the foothills as a kid.

Again, fdd, completely predictable. How's this? How about if you're going to address me that you understand and figure out that I'll address you back. So, what do you do when the thick gets sticky? You start this bullshit, dismissive and condescending all at once. Predictable. You said you were "out" more than twice, so I leave you alone completely. Then you start back in, so I address you directly and in an adult manner. And then you pull this shit again. You don't seem to be able to have a discussion or a debate without resorting to these tactics. I think you can't actually answer the questions. I think you haven't told your hero (who I am gonna guess isn't actually related to you) how you plan to vote, I'm sure he'd love to hear it from one of his followers. :)
