Vaping works for me. I have a dry herb vape. It does flowers and oil.

I've tried the tanks and it lit my ass up.

I think some peoples bodies are different. It's like edibles. I make them so strong that most people don't like them and I have a buddy that says he can't feel them and has never been high on edibles.

This study suggests that edibles will now be seriously tested for effects, safety and other important qualities.

Try dewaxing your distillates then no dilution is required.

The embedded link in the news story is the paydirt here.

This is a study that directly addresses the effects of cannabis without any of the previously-ubiquitous "pot is BAD" rhetoric. Such studies are essential in bringing orderly and relevant regulation to the emerging cannabis marketplace.

I found it especially interesting that in the population studied (infrequent cannabis users) the correlation between objective drug plasma levels and subjective drug effects was weakly to not correlated.
This means that we will need something other than a drug-level test for, e.g., roadside DUI stops.

Studies like this are vital to the integration of cannabis use into the legal and commercial framework of our society and economy. Thus I am disinclined to agree with the complaints in the OP.
anything that brings more pure information to light is a good thing, but what people do with that information is important, and accuracy is important. i don't think these people did a very good study. i think they made inaccurate correlations, and they should have gotten more information from the participants, and used a much broader sample of users for their test.
also, some blood work would have gone a long way. they used cognitive and motor ability tests, and questionnaires. how can they say there was more thc delivered if they didn't take any blood to test? they took people they said hadn't smoked regularly recently, and hit them with pretty high doses.....i think they would have gotten similar results with edibles or traditional smoking....test the same people regularly for a month, and i bet you would have gotten substantially different results between the first and last test

I recommend that you write a letter to the investigators, apprising them of their failures of method.

Those of us who are in the habit of reading scientific studies came to rather different conclusions than you documented here.

so, you're still trying to make a point to me? not ever going to happen, simply because i refuse to be taught anything by you...period...ever....i keep taking you off ignore, because i actually like you, but putting you back on, because you won't let anything go....
you can draw whatever conclusion you want, and shove them directly up your condescending ass.....you may be better educated than i am, but on the fucking asshole scale, we're about even....brother, and on the stubborn asshole scale, you're not a pimple on my ass

What does any of this have to do with your proven inability to read science and draw semi-relevant conclusions?

As for teaching you anything, I have already abandoned that as hopeless. My real audience here are the people who have not loudly declared that they do not wish to be confused with the facts because they've made up their minds.

So it probably will serve you to place and leave me on ignore. That would not bother me at all, and would probably improve your circulatory health.

i've actually experimented. i've used dry herb vapers, smoked a .5 gram bowl, the regular way. put .5 grams in the vaper a couple of hours later....no comparison....the vaper was weak....
i've made vape juice with VG, PG, PEG, wax liquidizer, and ej blend. i've shared it with other people, so i would have a little control to compare against. they all said it was good....i say it was weak......
i REALLY like getting high before i go deal with people, i REALLY want to be able to have a unit in my pocket i can hit pretty much at will, wherever i am.....i REALLY want vaping to work for me....i'm not looking for it to fail, i'm hoping for it to succeed, but so far, i've been disappointed. which makes me think this study is flawed.....or maybe it's just my head that's flawed ?
Have you looked into those tanks that go on one of those e cigarettes? A buddy of mine has the Yocan NYX. I've tried it and it hits better than any dab pen I've used.
Heats up instantly unlike a vape where you gotta haul on it for a few minutes to get it started.
It has a coil in it that heats up your concentrate. Not quite vaping but still very discreet and the higher temp hits might be up your alley. It's almost like a portable dabber.

It’s not about reading an article son it’s about the high. He’s saying it’s not comparable for him. Not a matter of not reading or not being able to draw conclusions, it’s called an opinion.

Opinions about facts are nice things, however the facts are always king, Gramps.

What Roger really needs is a thread called "Roger A. Shrubber's Furiously Frustrated Feelings about Facts". Because the facts are such hurty nasty little things.

Science doesn't lie, but every individual is different. For example my wife is much like that with edibles. She can smoke and get high but I've seen her put 400mg of edibles down and not do a thing to her whereas I will eat around 200mg and be on the moon.
Different strokes for different folks - I think the majority of you missed the point.

I think you missed the point this was about mode of administration, neither of which included edibles. But hey let's go with feelings about science for $200.00 Alex.
