Both Democratic and Republican administrations are targeting journalists

Honest journalism is one of the major enemies to an oligarchical consolidation of power. That's why journalists have been targeted by the powerful throughout history.

It's never been left v. right, it's always been up (rich) v. down (poor)

As long as they keep fooling enough people into thinking anything else, they'll keep winning the ongoing class war that has defined American politics since the 1980 election of Ronald Reagan.

That pool of people easily manipulated by the propaganda being put out are slowly but surely fading away. I've been feeling a pretty strong progressive shift in American politics since about 2015-2016, and it's shifted into overdrive the past two years. Progressives are fired up! We've had really big wins this year and those are only going to continue into the midterms and the 2020 presidential election. I'm more optimistic now than I have been in a long time. The next couple of years are going to be very exciting to watch. We're witnessing history.

The title of this thread is a lie
No it's not. It's objectively factual.

Both Democratic and Republican administrations have stifled journalism that accurately portrayed said administration in a negative light. I don't blame them, they saw what happened when journalists started accurately reporting on the war in Vietnam. Since then, both parties have stifled FOIA requests in regards to torture, drone strikes, constitutional violations, etc.

The Obama administration targeted journalists after he campaigned on protecting whistle blowers
Even if that were factually accurate, you failed to support the premise of this thread.

"...are targeting..'' - to imply it is currently happening.

The question posed, name a Democratic administration that is "targeting-journalists", again, to imply current.

I presume you grasp the concept of tense?
