It did not rain in Larry Land yesterday. Been a while since I could say that. Hot today with thunder in the afternoon. Did not rain here at work. Will see what happened at home later.

August in Wisconsin means State Fair and amazing weather. This year is no different as the days are growing noticeably shorter here now, so evening are just incredible.
Next 5 days all sun, highs in mid 80s with overnight temps in the mid 60s. Perfect recipe for flowering girls!!
We are 4 days from our first day under 14 hours of sunlight. Girls are excited about that!!

I wouldn't be willing to trade you winter weather, but I'd sure like to have some of your summer weather. Today is a cool day for mid August...high of 97°, currently 93° at 1:15 pm.

I almost finished mowing the graveyard before the skies opened up this morning. No big deal, as I'm down there with the mower every other month or so. {I've had no complaints from the residents so far}

I hiked this week. The days were hot, but toward morning I would actually pull the sleeping bag liner up over me. Lows in the low 70's. It will be a while yet before I have to pack an actual sleeping bag.
