Remaking this thread since last thread got some good and bad feed back want to get some feedback on another theory of mines you can agree or disagree any input is wanted.

Idk maybe just of a lil theory of mines after reading alot about weed plants and going through my first grow is that to get the best smokable weed with the best taste, flavor, and power you have to stress your plant. Whether it be LST or super cropping, like they say and I have experienced, that weed plants are Hardy and bounce back quick. From lst to increase yeild aslo topping, FIM. Even splitting of the stem to increase tichromes and the amount of darkness and temperatures of water. So to me a weed plant produces the best stuff in the plant like THC understress because she is protecting herself and possible future seeds(but we make sure that don't happen ) which makes the plant produces the good stuff we like to smoke. Like right now my plant is in like week 3 of flowering, no topping, but I still bend , pull down branches, even accidently split my main stem in half like two inches from tied down branches, and my baby is still going strong looking good showed no slow down in growth after stem split. So to my point I think the more stress you give your plant in the right way the better your harvest. If you let your plant grow natrually then your plant has nothing to fight off, nothing to repair, no seeds to overprotect, which willproduce way less good stuff to smoke.

I do training(hst, topping) during veg and early flower. I only hst during flower if the plant is getting really leggy. PP has a valid concern-if the plant is under constant stress, wouldn't it be more prone to complete its life cycle(seed) anyway it can?

Name another fruit or vegetable that produces more or better product from a fucked up tree or plant.

How I thought at first that my plant would Hermie but it hasn't, I have herd people still doing all kinds of things in flowering and still get a harvest.

stress=less than ideal conditions. why would you do that?
ideal conditions=ideal plant

do you think plants have a fight or flight reaction like mammals?
Im pretty sure you already stress your plant to increase yeild like topping,LST, film, super cropping, whatever which your plants bounce back just fine from but there are more techniques out there that further more helps with the potentcy, taste, and smell of buds.
Produce an article from research proving your hypothesis.
I read from many sources grow read easy, leafy, other websites like rollitup. Theres people on both sides of stressing your plant I'm not a one-sided thinker. When I first started growing I heard all kinds of way to cause Hermie and all of them don't make your plant can take alot. Some growers still do high stress train in flowering and still produce no balls.

Please do a grow for us and demonstrate these techniques.

I will try more the next time around. I didn’t even consider topping. I would like to try mainlining at some point. Those plants look awesome.
O yea main lining I can't wait to try yea they look dope to me and thats my point, theres so many technique's out there that every one is eperimenting with that actually works out that I can't be closed minded and always scared to make hermies
