Looks like a site redesign is in the works. I was able to get on the site this afternoon, but things were in pretty rough shape.

I've been trough a lot of seedbanks in my 15 years of indoor growing, started with Heavens Stairway and Doc Chronic all the way to Seed City and Firestax, the waiting time on seeds from Firestax was hilarious, I managed to grow a full beard(ZZ Top-style) and getting tired of it again before my seeds arrived, however they came, that's more than I can for 4-5 seedbanks I've encountered on the net. But to the point, not long ago I discovered Neptune Seedbank, apperently one of a kind with breeders and strains you dont see anywhere else, that's of course if you don't count in Seeds Geeek who's got the exact same set up,and peace be with that if it wasn't fer the fact, that there's a guy on these forums that has been scammed fer 2000$. He was trying to pay by cc and about 10 times it said rejected, finally he tried another card and it went trough. After readiing his cc statement, he found out that all the times it said: Rejected! he had been billed. Oh and did I mention, he never manage to reach anyone from this seedbank.. I know this is Seeds Geek I'm talking about here, but when you look at Neptune and Seeds Geek, they're 2 pieces of the same pie, almost right down to the comma, I have a hard time seeing watertight walls between these 2 seedbanks, and what puts me off here is that when I hear 10 people have a good experience with Neptune, there are also 10 people with a bad experience and this makes it a lottery to you get your seeds. Is this deliberate or is this a 1-man company, who's running around and no matter how fast he runs, he can't honor all his deals??. I made a 200$ order against my better knowledge, but there was genetics I couldn't get elsewhere, so I got an order confirmation saying I would be phoned, nothing happens fer a week, so I write a mail asking what's happening?. Same day later I receive a reply, saying he's been ill fer a week and he's sorry!. Fair enough and in this mail there's a phone number I should call if I want to pay with cc. I then mailed him back telling him as he probably could see I was from Europe and if this was the reason that I suddenly had to phone him, instead of the other way around, I dunno but I'm already smellling unprofessionalism here, so I simply wrote that my economy wont take a dive by phoning to the US, but if he thought I would give out all my cc-info over the phone, to a man I dunno then I would be the wrong guy and I didn't need seeds that much. However if it was because he wanted to direct me to an invoice and paying there, everything would be swell. Made the order the 29th of January, got the mail a week later, then nothing, zilch, zero........

I recently done my first purchases with Neptune of over 600 dollars worth of seeds i was gettng concerned and contacted him about 4weeks later to let him no I haven't received my order yet and that there's been no tracking updated since the first 3 of the shipping he replied back quickly with short message saying ohh no what's your order number.so i sent email with order number along with tracking and a screen shot and didn't get a reply at all so contacted again a week later and let him no i still haven't received and that there still hasn't been any update with tracking.he still didn't reply. so i was getting really concerned it was way over due for the expected delivery time and there still was no tracking update in over a month not a single tracking update so I contacted my country's postal service and the USPS my postal contacted back and reported that it has not even reached our country witch was really unusual for how long has been in delivery for and told me to catact the sender to lodge investigation with USPS. than I got a reply back from USPS and they could not locate were it was and that they could not do any thing further unless I contact the sender to lodge a investigation as the sender would have the relevant information and documents of the shiping that they need to go any further or put it to a claim. so I contacted Neptune back and let him no the update and what both postal service have said. and sent a picture of both emails so he could read what thay have recommended to do. and still haven't received email back its bullshit he no problem emailing me almost straight away after placing an order to organise payment as he dose to every one because there's no payment option on the website but hasn't got the decency to give me a simple email back or appolagise and offer me a reshipment or refund that's what a good honest seed banks would do or any honest business not this he had no problem tacking money out of my pockets and now I've lost over $600 and there's nothing I can do about it and it's not like PayPal were you can dispute a transaction and request a refund. thers nothing at all i can do about it. and to anyone that hasn't ordered and thinking about it just be carfull specially with large purchases and overseas purchases and I'm not saying there all bad thay do have a good selection and breaders and seeds that are hard to get anywhere else but just be carefull and i will keep updated and see if neptune end donig the right thing.

Their site looks OK, a lot of US seed bank sites are garbage.
I am seriously considering building my own seedbank website, because I understand intimately how the world wide web do. It seems like a lot of the “cutting edge” cannabis upstarts have no idea about internets.
That said, neptune seems like they might be a step ahead of the pack, more technical research to come.

For what it's worth, until this year I always used Attitude Seed Bank because that's really the only place I trusted at the time. This was pre-instagram and pre-recreational cannabis (which has helped relax some laws even in prohibition states).

I never had a package intercepted through Attitude (stealth and no stealth shipping), but I got tired of the anxiety of customs/ordering from overseas. I did some digging and realized there many North American based seed banks around. All the domestic seed banks seemed to carry limited supplies of the breeders I was accustomed to seeing, lots of newer breeders I wasn't familiar with. I think a large part of why that is could be because over the last 5 years there's been a HUGE shift in peoples' desire to obtain elite genetics. Breeders have the platforms to display their genetics, crosses, and overall work.. in the end it just brings a lot of access to strains that didn't exist (or weren't) available before. It was always the AK47's, White Widow, Cheese, Skunk, Northern Lights. Now it's Dosidos, OG cuts (larry, SFV, Ghost), punch, cake, OCKB, cookies, glue..

Sorry about the rant. I haven't ordered from Neptune, but I would/likely will. Neptune, SOL seeds, Oregon Elite, Lumberjack, Seedherenow, I trust all of these companies. As others have stated, I too had some issues a week or two ago with Neptune's website during their redesign. Not sure if I'm the biggest fan of it, but they carry good genetics so I can't complain.

made 3 orders with stax in the last 5 yrs...1st was the 'going bald waiting' scene(approx 5mths), second a bit faster, 3rd was only 2mths, reason i ordered from stax was stuff that was only available from there at the time...but they all came through eventually!
I haven’t vended with him since i heard that. As the guy in charge of my thing, I see it as my duty to ensure the customers safe or at least gets what they order. Logic, I wouldn’t touch him with a ten foot pole. Mr c cannazon too, ripped me off once. Seed depot too. I learned though. I usually order myself from them and use that to decide who I’d vend with though sometimes I have zero control once their public domain.

They did me. I never said who I was either and I was happy. Lots of seed banks though competition like to get each other’s cc PayPal and other payments shut down too, so if you see the option down. It’s cuz a customer or another bank ratted them out. It’s sad really.
Wow that is hella sad. I would try to take cc and cryptocurrency, but fuck Paypal. I might have to pull the trigger on starting a new bank, but neptune looks pretty sick, thanks for the testimonies y’all.

Shit I’d start a bank if it wasn’t such a dirty game. But it’s dirty. The guys overseas don’t have the same issues because their banks don’t care, it’s 100% legit to them. Here stateside they will shut you down or try.
