How much LED light can a plant handle?

its a 440cfm, 90watt exhaust fan, both of my radial fans are pulling 35watts, so between the lights and the fans im at about 11 amps, if i go over 12 amps then the risk of popping a breaker when my timer kicks all them on at the same time is getting pretty damn high.

Sorry. Just making sure.

Hey lite, I like how you have those lights setup. :blsmoke:

Remember that little 300 watt viparspectra light i was talking about yesterday. I figured I would show you what I mean. There are 4 cuttings under this light. These are 3 week old cuttings. So.......... the 2 on the left were heavily damaged. I sold a few plants and cuttings because I simply do not have the space or the light coverage I need to produce 15 bad ass girls. Long story short 2 of the cuttlings came back. I figured since they came back, I will nurse them back to health and enjoy my research project!

I really need to research my lighting because I'm going to need more as well!

looks good, I just think that based on how stretchy it is and how far the nodes are from each other, you may not be as happy as u could if u had more light.

I agree. My big tent is where that's at. In my 4x4 tent I am getting ready for a cool ass makeover.

I agree. I need more light.

What's getting ready to happen I will post a thread on tonight or tomorrow. The diet for today! We are enjoying some nice little batch shrooms....... :)

Yield is a factor of more than the lights -- light has to be balanced with nutes, temps/humidity, and most importantly, the potential of the strain(s) you are growing. From my limited experience in pushing the envelope on lights, I found that the more light I had the faster things can go wrong, and some strains react to it differently than others. Intense light is unforgiving and therefor high maintenance. You really have to know what you are doing with feeding them and reacting but not over-reacting to issues, because the more light the leaves are processing the more nutrients the plant needs to compensate. Temperature also comes into play as it impacts the speed of the plants metabolism and ability to process both nutrients from the soil and the light itself.

Or, I just suck at growing and couldn't handle it.... LOL! It's a fun challenge though, good luck with it.
