Early New England grow

No worries! I'm a pretty advanced outdoor gardener of other things. I wouldn't dream of just plopping plants out on one freak day. They would fey to a crisp.

You have to go slow to acclimate plants from growing indoors. Up here in Maine, rule of thumb is not to plant tender annuals until after Memorial day, such as tomatoes etc. Don't worry, I know how to grow plants. I'm third generation of farmer stock lol.

coastal mid maine we wait till memorial day week end and have no issues know lots of growers that screw themselves every year when we get a warm day or 2 in mid to late may and get a frost the last full moon in may their plants dont take that shit at all

Lol it's true. My granddad loved this kind of weather. It made people rush out and buy plants, which then died next frost like three days later. He made a lot of money on people trusting one warm day haha.

Today's been great though, was a good day to move my babies into much needed bigger pots. Hang in there little ones, one more month and you can go outside.

my plants love april sun in maine gotta no how to work itthose be mid may harvest next round be bout the forth july,then fall regs folks complain about short season LOL

Nice plants! Do you put yours outside during the day and bring them in at night? Charts says we're getting 13.5 hours of daylight currently.
