DIY with Quantum Boards

Has anyone pulled 2 the per light with QBs yet? I am 100% pro QB. Trying to free up some cash for a test one or two to run against current SE Hydrofarms 1000 watt hps and Nanolux DE. The Nano was not my idea. I have not used these microwaves yet.
Watch out for the " microwaves " .... Word has it ( from cryptkeeper bitch ) that they
" SPY " on you .........

You will need 4 boards and alot of help from the gods to compete with a de at full power.better fire up those hid's and get some practice in :)
Doing it with six hydrofarms SE with middling bulbs. 2 rows of 3 with a 1.75 foot aisle in a middle. I was thinking 4 QBs with 4 boards each. The middle row the two DEs.

I know with 4 QB boards per fixture w two meanwells. Is there any juice left over for a COB or 5th QB.

Theres no volts left the way i run them,2 x qb per mw 240-1050b i had to run a 3rd driver for cobs on the big panel i made.
Far as i can tell the meanwells dont put out nearly the rf interference that other hid digi ballast put out.my op is alot less fuzzy now.

I would imagine That Meanwell product meet RF suppression standards. Personally, I'm more interested in ways to jam networking over powerlines........
I'm so fucking lost as to what you guys are even talking about. lol I'm assuming ballasts put off RF that the govnt can track or see or some shit? Can't imagine that would be a problem unless you're doing a huge op right?

:peace::eyesmoke: This is *maybe* the most effective heat sink today. - easy to understand + copy

Do you need hot water ?

mount the chip and the driver you like...

and take hot showers for free...enjoy my contents and criticise please (:
Nice idea; so you're running hot water through the fixtures?

Some digital ballasts when put too close to cable boxes or cable Internet routers can cause RF feedback which can piss off neighbors and can send the cable company to your house.

This is very true and happened to me. Just bring in the same house can be too close.

Drivers for LED chips and boards output DC current, which has no frequency with which to interfere with cable or radio.

Similarly, magnetic ballasts and the special low frequency ballasts used to drive CDM/CMH/LEC lamps are also EMI safe.

It's the high frequency drivers that are the culprits, especially cheaply made and poorly shielded units.

some of the cheaper digital ballasts have poor or no sheilding, even though its required by law ( good ole chinese crap )
