looks like a bumper crop!what is total at the wall watts?around 1500?
Yeah, 1500 SunCloak watts & 2 double T-8's for another 128 watts & 8 CFL,s, another 160-180 wasted watts. Floro's are nothing in comparison. Hopefully by next run I won't be using them. Got 3, 27k Horizons coming soon hopefully.
Oh, I also got 3, 40w Utility-Tech 4k shop-lights going. Only one is actually being beneficial though, it's on a Kings at the end. The other 2 are on the 2 Chem-D's I don't show cuz they are in such bad shape. Just letting them do their thing but they should've been chopped & replaced.
What's a bumper crop?
Looking nice and chunky in there Brother @Hybridway :hump:

Damn, look what a Hortilux Super Hps can still do :P

Very nice! Frosty Nugs bro! Sometimes I miss my HPS room. Allot of times actually.
But I never imagined these Kindve yeilds off this wattage. I used to use about 1200 hps watts for a 4.5'x4.5' area & get 2 #'s.

In agriculture, a bumper crop is a crop that has yielded an unusually productive harvest. A bumper crop can also be a source of problems, such as when there is insufficient storage space (barns, grain bins, etc.) for an overlarge crop.

I see! Yeah, there's definitely more then I anticipated. They're making a new model now including more 4 more vertical bars per blade. Doug is sending me some as soon as they're done he said. I really appreciate that he considers my input as valuable info. & actually acts on it. I can't say enough good about this owner & the SunCloak.
Super happy w/ my veg. Horizons. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

I'm about to order 2 of the 100watt 2x4 veg lights from suncloak and I'm expecting great things from them for my veg tent to go along with the 900watt timber Vero frameworks for flower tent, I'm thinking I should get amazing results with this combo

Ahhh 4 more bars per panel sounds like a big deal especially when I plan on spending 600$ for a veg tent, do you know if they will be the same price point??

I really love the design of this fixture having seen it from these angle it kinda reminds me of a fixture I used to grow with which was called a spectrum reflex, basically it was similar to the one in your pics 1.2m x 1m wide except it used 8 x 4ft 36w philips 840 TDL Master warm bulbs. I had fantastic results with it to the point that it outyielded my HID fixtures (using less watts, generarting less heat, better quality product) and I soon ended up replacing all of my HID fixtures for those units.

Moral of the story was, I sooned cottoned on that larger fixture with a perfectly even distribution of light above the canopy was definitely the way forward, so yeah that fixture is what I consider to be an optimum design format.

Sweet! Yeah that's will be a great combo or set-up. Nice even light in both Veg & Flower.
These Horizons rock for veg. Accessed the big plants under them last night. No death inside from lack of light & these bitches are very full.
That 900w Timber Vero build is bad-ass too.

3ft x4ft panel..380 watts 6" 750ppf [seems like the ppfd is similar] 580ppf @12"

is that any good..will get it testing on something eventually

gotta wire up the vertical frames ..
Looks good! That's allot of light!
So, I take it you plan on powerful vertical sides too? If you're going 3' wide & that is to sit between the vertical sides then you're looking to grow some wide plants & w/ the overhead light being that powerful, I'd say you're gonna have some monsterous plants in there.
Pretty cool man!

thanks..are the readings in any ball park compared to suncloak ?
the panel is just for an over head test grow.yes not just veg

i hope to get three vertical bars hooked up for another small test.
first decent wiring job i have done..

i do like the single rows on the SC

Wow! They had somthing like this in a T-5 array?
This design is incredible to me. Pretty sure I'm looking @ a guestimate of 7#'s from the Cloak this time off of 1500w & a few floros.
Never imagined weight like this off that little wattage. Used to use about 1200w HPS for less the 2#'s. It blows my mind really.
To think too, these plants went from 6" Potts straight to 5 gall. Buckets, 1 week more veg in The Cloak n hit the switch. Crazy.

Nah they were T8's, got to bear in mind that these fixtures came out roughly 10 years ago, T-5's were still developing, so the range of bulbs was limited.

That spectrum reflex was seriously under-rated at the time, I saw people hanging those fixtures 12 - 16" above the canopy and treating em like they were HID lamps, I was like wtf, because the tubes are cool to the touch which meant you could literally have them touching the top of the canopy for max intensity.

7#... Oz or Kg? ...........Speaking about design here's a couple pics of a spectrum reflex lamp 288watts draw would out yield 600w HID and produce better quality product!

Sounds like you mean Kg if so then 7# truly is phenonemal and seriously breaking new territory:eek::D:eek::D

Duh silly meo_O forgot you guys deal in lb's:lol:... Over here we are into Kg's and Oz's...

So at first in my confusion, I was like hybrid is potentially into some never before seen territory, then you brought me back down to earth with a massive bump haha!

Still though, those figures work out to be just slightly over 2g/w which is still very respectable;)
