First indoor grows

With very little experience outdoor, decided to try indoors with coco. Without having a ph meter, tried using a ph probe for soil and got the ph way too low on first batch before I knew it and didn't get any ph up until it was too late, pulled the plug after 3 to 4 weeks into flower.

Started another grow still without ph meter but knew to be more aware. Have 5 nivarna wonder woman fems in 5 gal grow bag with coco/perlite mixed around 70/30% in a el cheapo 4x4 tent under cheap 600w hps. Pretty embarrassed about the yield compared to what I am working with but considering they were stressed with ph being not ideal, just glad i'm gonna have a couple oz. Will have a ph meter before I do coco again.

Have 7 of the nirvana's unknowns seedlings started in organic soil and hope to see a difference when they go in to flower. Will probably have to add some nutes before the finish though, don't think my stuff will last that long. Will try to add a pic.

pH meter and ca:mg are pretty much mandatory in Coco. And welcome. Good luck and Godspeed.

If you don't want to buy a pH meter - at least get the drops. Coco pH needs to be within 5.8 and 6.2 or you will get deficiencies. Guaranteed.

Try using easier growing methods to start out with. Like fox farms ocean forest...its a no brainer as it buffers the water for you and gives the plant what it needs to get a running start all threw veg.
