Grow looks good those horizons look awesome and the numbers hmm......I'm going to have to see if I get one after the move for a straight up veg area, and then I can use my 600W for more than just vegging, maybe do my auto runs under the 600 ..........

Keep it up the Cloak runs always amaze me how big the plants get.

Thanks homie! I'll get you #'s again on that. It's used right close so I'll measure at 2"-4". Perfect veg light & is killing it above the Cloak too. I'm so happy w/ SC. Honestly, had my doubts when I first got it though. No more of that noise.

i just did a rough par test @ 6" with just one of the 16.75" 20 w dual led strips....the highest reading i got was around 340

hope to make an over head and some vertical frames..
will try jbweld on the strips/aluminum..
then attempt to figure out wiring using wago's

those og like plants in the SC are doing great..what a difference heathy bug free plants make huh

Don't mind the plants. A few need some TLC.
220 watts of T-5
View attachment 3865531
200 watts of Horizon
View attachment 3865532 View attachment 3865533 View attachment 3865534 Each one of these should outperform my 440 watt 2'x4' T-5.
I went w/ 16" wide instead of 24" for more light density. Seems to be working out as planned. The light is getting deeper into the plants then the T-5 by a decent amount too.
Loving the Horizons.
i will mention this and then butt out

220w..... ?

thats 10 of the dual 16.75" 4k estonia strips..100$ usd with no frame..no assembly

Here you go. Bout 1 1/2" away from the bulb & the led strip.
These things kill a T-5. image.jpgimage.jpgAll Floresents are packed up n going to family for further good use. Totally done using floros now.
I really like that the fans blow right through the top of these Horizons. No restriction.

Show us
220 w?
i was just asking if the 220w were the fluro's..guess so

i got all the bars for 4 @ 4ft x3ft frames..i have to stick all the strips to them and wire it up..drivers too..it won't be tomorrow [joke]

the 200w suncloak 200 w does two sides when in the middle of the plants or do you put two together?

hybrid:your round is gonna be so much better than the last one

Yes, the 220 umol is also 220 watts & is my 2'x2' T-5 @ the bulb. I'd imagine the reading would be similiar to the 4' T-5 using 440 watts. Couldn't give that comparison cuz my 4' T-5 is full of colors mixed in. Difference would be coverage. Although I do get just under 400 off my 10K T-5 bulbs.

So does the LEDs come in loose strips or coils that are to be applied to the bars or do they come as hard strips?

200 w does both sides when a pair of blades is in the middle. The end ones are 100 w cuz the one facing outward stays unplugged unless you were to continue the system length by adding more bays. Like I did here by adding the second system.
So each blade (being 1/2 the upper bar) emits 50w. Each side makes 100w a plant. In this case the Horizon adds another 50w, making this run 150w a plant.
Last run was 100 w a plant X4 plants = 2 #'s. About 8 oz. each plant @ 100 w each.

the inner two will be 320 or 280 w depending how i do it

brother using drill press to make me holes

I will have 6-9 plants

also hope to make a 3x4 ft over head...that will be over 200 w anyway.[.after the frames]

now thinking about having all the drivers remote and running wires to the dc on the strips..

What kinda cost per bay? cool asf btw

Cool! The Horizons are only 100w.
If you're going to build an overhead version, might I suggest you build it w/ no more then 20" outside dimensions. Mine are 16" w/ like 19" o/d. Reason being, is you really don't want your bays to be wider then 22"-24" for the vertical bars to be effective. Your overhead will need to fit between your bays.
Be careful going to high on the wattages in the middle cuz you don't want the diodes to burn the plant when it touches or gets close.
Sounds good though. Can't wait to see it running.

Doing the math it's like $700 I think. Each bay pulls a # or more w/o the Horizon.
I think you can purchase them individually on the site. Not sure.
They've recently made some big changes that might not be on the site yet & are making more. Nothing I own here is offered on the site as far as I know.
This companies getting better everyday.
