I currently have the amare ss.350.uvb. I'm running a lush lighting dominator 2x next to it. The lush light is beginning to go out and is past warranty so I'm thinking about buying another amare. Is there anything currently better then the amare ss.350.uvb? Or should I just go with another amare?
Get another Amare. If you liked the 350, I'm sure the 450 would be a nice wattage bump. And probably can get a returning customer discount to help.

Timber, Tasty, Johnson, PLC (kind of pricey), or Cutter Configs/@Growmau5.
I'm curious what you classify others as?...

Not aware that he has a 350 uvb light. Did you mean 450?

Either way, I am not aware of any other QUALITY commercial light that combines CoBs with individual spectrum enhancing diodes, let alone uvb

What do you all think of blackdog? I've been happy with mine 800w other than the intial price but I seldom hear people talk about them. Any reason?

What do they use that are shitty? What marketing is bullshit?

This right?

They don't name leds used. But say blah blah blah and better than white leds. Same wattage of cobs would crush that. And that costs fuckin 2300$.

You asked I answered. They don't say shit about led manufacturers or model or bin. Any company that uses great leds brags about it. That's another Chinese pannel just different case than mars.

Sorry. Half that money in cobs would crush that light.

CREE® CXA 2530 x 6 plus some fancy leds and a t5 tube? 450 watts

vs Bridgelux Vero29 V7 Type C COB x 12. 900 watts.

I am going to say the 12x bridgelux blows the other one away.

Yeah. Amare is another company that prompts flowery language to sound good. It gets beat by high end cobs easily
