Is there anything currently better then amare?

I currently have the amare ss.350.uvb. I'm running a lush lighting dominator 2x next to it. The lush light is beginning to go out and is past warranty so I'm thinking about buying another amare. Is there anything currently better then the amare ss.350.uvb? Or should I just go with another amare?

ive never been able to get a handle on the actual specs of any of their products.

failing that, i would go with a mfr that has tested, and publishes actual photometric data (umol/J). other than that youre just living in the world of "my unique anecdotal garden can beat up your completely different garden" for you basis for purchases

It depends on what you mean by better. For the price of Amare it's definitely not anywhere near the top performing lights on the market but it probably ranks higher than Mars type lights. If cost is not a consideration in your view of what is better then the Amare seems to be very comparable to any of the other cob systems on the market.

When you factor in that for the same price as 1w of Amare you can buy in the neighborhood of 2w of other pre-built cob systems, it easily pushes other pre-built systems into the lead. Spend $1000 on Amare and spend $1000 on Timber etc and you'll grow close to twice the amount of bud. Just a simple fact of science.
I wanted to link some real prices and info but unfortunately the Amare website is still dysfunctional, for me it was anyway.

I personally went with the timber kit x2. I know you can probably source the items on their own and save $60 on a 4 cob kit, but my shit got to me in 2 days after I ordered it and time is a big thing for me because I have a full-time job so I really appreciate the convenience,so the few xtra $ dont mean shit to me compared to my time( I know it isn't a huge task to go get some wires and put it together yourself) I have zero experience with Amare, I bought my cobs based on everyone's posts on this site

Are the timber kits hard to put together? And price isn't too big of an issue, I've been saving and planning on having to buy a new light soon. Are there any other already built lights that anyone recommends. What are some of the top quailty brands? Any kind of google search just days mars hydro etc.. which I know aren't the best lights.

Timber has...or had a line of pre-built lights for sale awhile back, but those were labor intensive to make and most of their orders were for kits...So, to fill orders for kits better, they put the pre-built lights on the back burner. You can still get one, though. I and a few others have them.

Other than that, Apache Tech is a well-researched light -extremely expensive, though.

Nextlight is reported to be a really nice one.

Northern Grow Lights and Johnson Grow Lights are working on some new Quantum Boards which look to be pretty tremendous.

Timber has prebuilt kits now under the name of framework. They're simplistic and awesome.

Their DIY kits are plug and play.....you could simply get some cable hangers and hang a DIY kit for less or spend 20-40$ and build a nice frame. Depends on your budget. But there's no one else selling plug and play DIY kits that I know of. Timber growlights are the way to go for someone not wanting to soldier or mess with wiring diagrams.

.....and as all COB led lights beat the pants off amare especially for the price.

Timber, Tasty, Johnson, PLC (kind of pricey), or Cutter Configs/@Growmau5.

Idk send me a kit and I'll let you know :p

Are your drivers with dimmers already fully soldered and assembled so you just stab a couple wires in their color coded holes and it's good to go?

I've not used your kits so I'm just speaking from experience sir.
