Floralicious plus? What's the point?

I luv it, my advice is premix it with a gallon of water or that shit will sink to the bottom of your Rez.

This is what I am running in my 40 gal Rez. 240ml micro, 480ml bloom, 240ml Koolbloom liquid,80ml protekt, 80ml cal mag+, 40ml floralicious + and ph down. Gives me a TDS reading of 930, or EC of 1.9 the plants seem to be loving it! For as bad as it smells, it makes your weed smell and taste so good!

I agree. I usually figure additives are just marketing but I'm ready to try some Floralicious now. I'm sold...................for now

FL+ does make a difference in smell and taste of finished product. Ive done 3 strains, 2 cuts of each one with and one without FL+ and the difference was easily noticeable.

First time using it here. Guy at the hydro store gave me a small bottle. I was looking for something like superthrive to help my soil to coco transplant. Dude at the hydro store said floralicious was better (they didn't stock superthrive). No complaints here since it was free. Not too sure on his claim though. I have not used either before so I'm in no position to say yay or nay on that one.

I only use it occasionally as others have mentioned, the shit stinks. After reading a few posts in this thread, I might start adding it to my regular feeds.

Nobody bothered to mention that G&H are now owned by SCOTT'S.......Scott's IS the BAD guy!!!!

When I ran synthetic's. I tested a lot of brands and lines...The NOVA line was good stuff but, was the dirtiest damn shit in a res I ever tried...It ran masterful in soil and soil less!

For many years I added FL to many differing nute lines as part of the bloom for the extra N it brought to the table as I have and do feel that many are low on N , right up to about week 5 +

Thanks for your tests and reports Bueno Time, I'm a Floranova Bloom lover myself.

Is G&H synonymous to General Hydroponics? I'm also considering the FLP as a weak Nitrogen booster, how does it work out at strengths over the recommended (1mL/Gal)?

G&H is general hydroponics....
I would find another product as your N booster if you want to have higher N values....
There are plenty of other N products available that would do better.

I know, but I don't want to spend any more on MORE nutes. I'm keeping it simple, just use what I have on hand. And since I have A LOT of FLP (and I do mean A LOT no kidding) I was planning on using it to boost N a bit but have no idea if the increased humics will have a negative effect (I think not but I'm unsure, that's why I asked).

Depends on the quality of the humic and it's concentrations.....try it.

depend on growing methods , I would be careful adding too much organic. It's not much beneficial when you get root disease and pest because you used FL+.

I am in rdwc and I would never use FL+, too dirty and I simply wouldnt recommand any organic in hydro except if you have innoculated your plants with trichoderma/benneficial fungi. I would still recommand following dosage and minimum beneficial organic additive!

Thank weedemart, I'm running coco so I'm not really worried about gunking up a res. I'll probably try a stronger concentration in a few of my plants and see how they react. Maybe use it as a foliar and see how the plants react to a little stronger formula.

If you use organic additive just make sure you run bennies so your protected against disease. If you add organic in your rootzone and you have just a start of slime or any root disease, it will explode in few day and ruin your crop. That why I'm very carefull with organic additive because when you add them to rootzone, you usually create the perfect environment for bacteria and fungus to thrive , but it might be the bad one who take place.

I'll add , theres very few benefit from using floralicious plus but lot of cons.

Hope it help. gl

Hmm, then how do the organic liquids that folks are using in hydro not do what you propose?

The G&H organic line was used to win a cup like 4 or so years ago.....

I would be more inclined to say that you'll get problems from high brix supplements like molasses or real high carb unpasturised products.....things that would ferment....

Simply because they add bennies in their products but they wont list it in the analysis because its not a salt/source of nutrients.

0821161534d[1].jpg I've used FL+ for years but that gallon jug is expensive but I switched to dry dissolvable Humic (makes 4 gallon for $22 ) , fish fert , Kelp extract that's what's in FL+
but it's price that turned me off on FL+
I'm in coco
your results may vary o_O
