Floralicious plus? What's the point?

But shouldn't they have included it in their base formulas? It's not like the price you pay isn't enough to cover the costs. "We sell you our nutes that provide all the stuff your plants need. For and extra $XXX, we'll sell you the stuff we left out of it. See our pretty graphics on the bottle?"
You are wrong sir...there are a million strains and a one size fits all approach does not work. Why do you think the flora series is split into three bottles? Every plant strain requires a different balance of nutrients and splitting up all the nutes gives you the control over the recipe rather than somebody who may never have grown bud. Imagine if your cheap ass “everything-in-one-bottle” formula has to much of something in it for a particular strain? You’re screwed end of story.

Can anyone explain the purpose of gh floralicious plus. It seems it's an organic additive. It came with my gh flora series nutes which isn't organic. So why would I add a organic supplement in a non organic hydroponics reservoir? Either way I added some at 1/4 strength just because the label sounded good, but now my reservoir stinks an hour after adding it. Will this be a problem? I just don't get the point of using it in hydro I guess, so has anyone used it before in a non organic hydroponics system?

Im running it through a very large scale commercial setting. Ran my NPK’s for weeks before the FL+ came in. After flushing some salts I fed a mix of FL+, Kool Bloom, and Nectar and the results were unreal. In 48 hours we saw a significant change. It’s the secret sauce to our Grow. 55 gallons for just under $5k will go a long way and you will get your money back I assure you.

Expensive potassium sulfate, kelp, humic acid, and amino acids. I could probably make a thousand gallons for under $100. Cool looking label though.

Hey
I don't grow without it.
It's got either humic or fulvic acids (can't remember which) which act as chelating agents to help the rest of your nutrients be assimilated better at a wider nutrient range.
Full of amino acids, to boost terpene and oil production.
Also has Bacillus to fight bad shit in your res, boost roots, and helps your plants take up nutrients better.
Healthier plants, larger yield, higher potency, and better smelling buds.
Smells a bit, but it's BOMB shit in Hydro.
Expensive as hell but worth it.

Use it at full strength. Don't go over, it's potent.
Hey quick question, can floralicious plus be mixed in the same container with the Flora-Series??

The point of an internet forum is to be family? Ummm, what???
Geez- the noobs just can’t win-if they start a thread-they get bitched at for not looking for the info in an existing thread- this guy did his homework- found a relevant thread to ask his questions- and gets bitched at.
I joined to learn and share my experiences.

My understanding is that organics are primarily food for the microbiome. I wouldn't use organics in hydro without adding beneficial bacteria or fungi. That's just asking for the root problems.

After doing this for many years I've started using a microbial product called Azos in the aeroponic cloner and a product called Recharge in the veg stage. (Don't try to use Recharge or most other microbial products when cloning or starting seeds). Root issues have become all but non-existent. As it stands now, I'm using Mega Crop in hydro and very happy with it (Mega Crop contains some organic material) but I would be hesitant to run it without the Recharge.

I should also say, I didn't start using Mega Crop because it has organic ingredients. Recharge also contains organics, but I don't specifically use it for that reason. It's just performed better than other beneficial bacteria products for me. Whether that's due in part to it having some food for the microbes to eat I don't know but that's reasonable. At the same time, I haven't gone down the path of using microbes and getting better performance after adding another organic product. It may be that some microbe products that don't come with food will benefit from something like floralicious plus.

I just put like 5ml into 4L and decided it between two plants, as well as some calmag and a little maxi bloom. Then I read the lable again…
It’s 0.25ml per liter. So.. I put a shiton too much. Stay tuned… in week 6 now.

Shits funky as hell I don't use it. GUnks up reservoirs and doesn't do anything for plants IME. Most of these "supplements" contain macronutrients so it's hard to know if the added ratio of NPK, sulfur, magnesium etc is helping or its the kelp stench juice. Pretty sure it's all bullshit. Also I've had too much micronutrients cause almost what appeared to be a calcium deficiency on my plants. I quit using any type of kelp or organic stuff in my coco feed. No difference in the same genetics grown in super soil or coco with maxi. That's all hype or grower preference.

It was good before they changed the formula and it doesn’t have humic acid anymore.
Conveniently they didn’t change the description on Amazon- it says it does have humic acid.
I don’t think it’s good for hydro- only soil and coco.
