The original MTF

So the stories go it went underground....

For those that are really in the know; MTF has been around in select circles. It started as any great strain from the valkey but evolved, like many; to develope its own identity and genetics. I have had the pleasure of getting seeds from a guy in his 70's that acquired them from Chickaloon back in the late 80's. Plants are healthy even though the seeds were 3 decades old - amazing plant.

I have two different plants, one for sure is a female and the other is yet to be determined.

For those interested in clones, pm me please.

I'm not interested in debate; authentic seeds are on my word and if that's not good enough then please don't bother. I'm only interested in sharing with other serious growers that remember the flavor & the daze of MTF days.

Cool!

How does she grow/smell/taste? Got pix? I'd sure love to see what this elusive varietal looks like... bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie

One is a five leaf indica dom and the other is a seven leaf indica dom. The taller and mature females haven't flowered by me yet: still awaiting completion on that from another grower. I haven't finished either yet and I'm drooling while they grow. The 7 leaf (unsexed) is stacking nodes like a champ. I purposely stretch the newbies before putting the light closer to get nodes; but she/he started doing it all on her own. Light was 30" away and they (nodes) came up symmetrical and gorgeous.

The females ready to clone/flower are beasts in their own right. They do stretch. Super-cropping is literally a snap with her. She takes the break and pops tops almost immediately.

Okay hijackers..... that Sour Puss sounds pretty freaking awesome. ..... just saying. :)
Well I've got another ~100 of those seeds, if/when we swap those MTF clones I'll bring a few for you. But you should know that I've only sprouted 6 so far and 4 have thrown nanners. Til @FrozenChozen mentioned it I was thinking about pulling those seeds out of my seeds jar and putting them in granola... now, dunno.

FYI I also bred that Sour Puss male with a Sensi Seeds Jack Herer and a Cali Connection Girl Scout Cookies. Haven't sprouted any of the xJH. The one xGSC I sprouted was DENSE, yielded well and really packed on the trichs. But it also had a strong floral/burnt rubber stank I don't really care for.

Pix of the JTR x SP here (ignore the old duct tape label LOL):Web-LostLakeHaze.0220.jpg Web-LostLakeHaze.0236.jpg

This is great! A strain that I've only heard of, a legend in the lower 48- and legalization helped bring it back out of the shadows!

These are the kinds of stories that make me feel like I'm living in a blessed and special moment in history...

Dunno veg times, I just grow for myself and don't keep track, seedlings get flowered when I have room.:joint:
I'm with you there but for some reason I feel compelled to run a calender during my grows.
I don't know why - fuck, I never really look back. I just pay very close attention to the plants & how they respond to watering/teas etc...

But then I compulsively count stairs, flocks of birds and other meaningless shit.

Oh look, a duck !
