You say you keep your lights pretty close to the canopy. If so, your leaf surface temperatures are likely to put you in the ideal range for good CO² takeup. It's the leaf surface temperature that's the important measure, not air temperature. If an air temp in the high seventies is what works, I'd say don't fix it.
I do try to keep Them as close as possible .i have like 6 of the temp/ humidity reading thingies all over the room. Bottom of canopy , top of room, top of canopy , back of room . The one I base my reads off is at the height of the nugs in center of canopy under light . I try to aim that for 79 because it's the wamest spot the plants will see. And the ogs will get the tinyest bit of curl . Seems to work good. Because they are getting very intense light I think the 80s gets to be much for the ogs. But different strokes for sure. I know some strains kill it at 83. If I had only blue dream in my room I would raise the temps a little.

Not sure, but I'm a big fan of name brands, helps in the peace of mind department.
hahah I feel you. In my single ended I kill
It with my 35 dollar plant max bulbs haha. But I wanted to give the nanolux a fair shot against the gavita . And considering such a huge price difference it came out around the same with the Philips green power bulb

That's because Blue Dream is a sativa dominant and likes warmer temps better.

Another variable is humidity. Plants can handle and thrive at higher temperatures with higher RH, so they don't have to work so hard to keep up with transpiration.

Because it's like a rainforest in there I am having humidity issues . Getting as high as 60% when lights are out

Lol I'm in the seventies and low eighties lol
I would have a heart attack. I'm always fighting off budrot at the end with humidity in the 50s. And air circulation is not problem if you count fans on floor I am using 2 fans per light lol . It's pretty fucked. I lower my temps to get color last couple weeks I was thinking that probably doesn't help. I
Am not going to do it this round

Please don't be a douche.
Why am I a "douche" for trying to help you?

I learned very early in life it's much more beneficial to cultivate allies rather than adversaries. Your arrogant attitude is not appreciated.

Still waiting for those pics of 3/1k that you said were in the thread I posted here for you (only trying to help).

Planning a trip to LA to visit a friend that has a med card. To tryout some of your weed, what dispensaries and strains?

Hey mongo,

Didn't say "unbelievable" I do believe doable with everything near perfect. I go into flowering with plants that have 8 weeks to root and veg under 2k, usually around 3-4' tall. I know what a 2/1k looks like and how tight it is-----I would just like for once see a 3/1k crop at finish----seriously.

I'm sure you know, we only have a finite amount of useable space relative to the light source-----so to cram 3 lbs (when dry) in that space (5x5) I think he's doing----I just would like to see it and not "just believe me".

I'm running closer to a 5x5.5 . And I am sure that even some of those past pictures are 3 pounds under a light.. Just not as the average . But you saw those pics.. I hit 11.5 off of 4 lights with absolutely no skill. Now Cannabis runs my life... You don't think I might of improved a little in 3 years ? Lol considering I didn't even know what checking your run off meant.. And that was my first run checking my ph In the res LOL . I'd say I'm a little further along now

I literally got about a pound on my first run, using the CMH and LEDs. It's "about a pound" because I didn't weigh my last plant, but it filled up three big mason jars. I used 465 watts for lighting in flower so I was pretty close to 1 gpw on my first go with very little prior experience. Aside from the great yield for a newb, the quality is outstanding, I have a few friends that grow with HPS and I can tell the difference, and so can they, my worst plant was as good as their best. Planning on giving them some clones soon so we can have a true comparison.

all of my lighting put together (both tents, cmhs, leds, and t5s) is 609 watts, if you wanted a veg and flower tent separate from each other, and wanted to stay around 600 watts, you wouldn't just be a sucker to use hps, you'd be catastrophically retarded.

ttystick-

I knew a guy that was using the 860W CDM in an og hood, He got RESULTS for sure, I'd just be more comfortable with that if DNA lighting was actually still in business.
I've seen @RM3's grow, it's phenomenal, just not something I'm gonna do, I'm already $1k deep in CMH!
DIY LED is on my list of stuff to learn, seems like my kinda hobby, I just don't have the time to build things right now.

Have any of you guys actually had experience with anything other than HPS? patrick and alex?
I do appreciate the advice, if you have any

so do you guys think I'd be better off moving my 2nd LEC from the veg tent into the flower tent, and moving the LEDs and t5 to the veg tent?
would that give enough light for veg?
Thinking of getting some of those new a51 COB fixtures to do away with the t5s as well.

Also, repeat question from my first post, can I daisy chain different types of lighting together?
3 mason jars? I filled up 4 giant ziplock bags and it weighed 26 zips. Mason jar dont hold a lot.
