I am a licensed trapper. To get that license, I had to sign a contract with the gov't (like all licenses).
Part of this license states that the game warden can enter my house, without notice, at any time to inspect my freezer for any extra, unclaimed pelts. If I dont let him in....boom..there goes my license.
When we are allowed to continue to grow, I suspect similar requirements will be put in place. This is my guess.
1-A one time wiring inspection (similar to when I got my wood burning chimney installed, fire inspector had to sign off for insurance)
2- Random plant count visits by HC inspectors

Not the same deal Mr.
Not at all.

The OMNR have to deal with THIEVES and is why they have a clause that says they can STOP, SEARCH AND SEIZE anything, when ever. under the idea that the suspect MAY rid himself of the evidence needed to convict!
They DO NOT need a warrant!!!!!!
They do indeed BRING THE RCMP or LOCAL police with them in their search as they USE the police as back up in case of any violence.
WHICH in turn gives the police FULL access to your house ... :) ya know..'just in case' there are guns or crazy stuff..(oh looky what we found) Ociffer...over here please... ;)
fucking BULLSHIT tactics... all 100% legal!!

Patients are not considered thieves or are they a Danger to anyone. :)
If I were growing. It wouldn't bother me when they wanted to come. Someone would just have to be home at the time :)

If they (HC) couldn't do one inspection under the MMAR, do you really think we are going to see home inspections in the future?
Key issues;
Cost to run inspections.
Privacy, security, and liability if there is problems after an inspection.
The simple fact that they would (and did) demand access for inspections without a warrant is in itself illegal. I'm sure that's why none were done. Authorities cannot enter a private residence in Canada without a court issued warrant...Harper is trying to change that though. They need to focus on those selling if they want to enforce the bullshit laws, not on those growing.

false! you need to be a certified electrician to replace a receptical. you as a home owner might be able to pull a permit, but that's ussally done by the contractor.
I am in Alberta and bought a old house on a tax sale I pulled the permit and did a total upgrade on the electrical and switched from propane to natural gas had the city inspector come in and he passed it all no problems.

A conservation officer can enter my house without a warrent. I gave that right up when I signed my fur harvester license.
Im only speculating and giving my opinion based on another type of license.
When we sign our new license I wont be suprised to see that in there is all Im saying.
See Gb the govt does see us as thieves, scammers of the system. Why are we in court oh wisest member of this board? Please enlighten me
This judge is not going to let the new system go wild west like the last system

Conservation can enter without a warrant? First time I've heard of that and I am shocked. Harper is having to pass new anti-freedoms laws to allow cops to go after terrorists without a warrant, but it's already allowed for hunters? I'd be fighting to change that

I dont believe csa approval is the answer to anything.
Someone could be stupid and really overburden their electrical system with csa approved equipment just as easily as non csa'd.
One power bar powering up five more power bars each running a 600 or 1000 is a recipe for disaster whether the csa got paid for a sticker or not.

You can tell when there was a slow court day on here cause everyone starts the in fighting lol

We are all just speculating on what a good proper system will look like as if they have already won.
