almost week 7 on the garage run . all is well for the most part. stemmed off the week 5 weirdness I always get by flushing. lost one plant due to something ? just wilted over like it was over watered or something. Roots didn't look bad ? Love the Hempys.

The Ebb n Gro up and running . Flipped them on Friday. All OG's, slanky and stretchy.

7 Week plants look great TWS.
Very impressed with the E&F going to be watching you close on this, good luck.

TWS,
You probably told us here the strain you have at 7 + weeks but I don't remember, suprise suprise. Would like to know the strain and when you finish the grow would like to know what you though of how that grow went and a smoke report. Those buds look GRRRRRRRR8 bongsmilie

Ok all you smart folks, I have a question but first the comment.

I have clones in Hempy Solo cups of the two Black Widows, 4 of each plant. After the 8 clones take root in about two weeks I will put them in one gallon 60/50 Coco?Perlite Hempy buckets. Then allow them a week or two for the roots to reach the reservoir and then veg them for three or four weeks either under my T5 fixture or my SS400 LED. That would put them ready to flower at about 8 weeks. That is my expected harvest time for the BW ladies in the cabinet now. Do no pinching or topping, only LST where needed. Just let them flower in a SOG. The buckets I will be using are 3 lb plastic Folgers coffee containers, exactly one gallon. They are taller and narrower then the one gallon paint buckets from Lowes, and free, so can get the 8 plants in a tighter pattern in my cabinet under the HPS.

Sounds like a plan to me! LOL

I also have these two larger clones from of the two female plants. One of the two if not both will become my mother plants, will not know till final curing and tasting as to which will be the mother.

These two ladies, along with the other three clones (that turned out to have balls), were put into flower on 1/26 and showed sex on or about 2/6. As soon as sex was determined these two went back under 24/7 and the three males were removed from the 12/12 cabinet and along with their clones are now resting peacefully in my compost pile.

Ok now my question! Off of one gallon Hempy buckets what is and anticipated yield? I know there are many factors but just some idea would help. ISK what do your two litter bottles yield? Plan to Google this also.

That's a silly question GR. You know all the variables. It's like asking how many licks to the center of a Toostie Pop.:eyesmoke:

Pic taken from my camera phone. . 2 liters from 12/12 from seed. Only wish I had 120 of them. Both are dinafem dinachem. Started them off in solo cups filled with canna coco then later transferred to the 2l's with the bottom mixed with vermiculite and perlite.
they look solid/dense buds, how many grams did they produce?

Final yield is near impossible to guess. That being said, if running a sog from freshly rooted clone, you would be looking at around 1 oz per gal. Strain, set-up, grower error/expertise all play a role. With your veg time added, I'd expect you to get more than the avg, but only the final result would let us know... Peace!!

Running some grape kush, blue dream and grape og from rooted clone to see how they do well in 2l before I run a sog again.. Day 13 of flower. Using full line of canna. I need to take better pics. I'll do better sorry.

Just wondering about this.
8 Black Widow Clones, and this tub. 60/40 Coco/Perlite Hempy
Have never done a SOG before so I will need some instructions or just flower with out training.
If I do the flowering without training I could use the three wheeled dolly and turn the plants as needed in the tub, now that would be cool.
What do you think?

You can make it work, but remember that your plant is going to be wrapped up in any screen you are using, so make it attach to the base, so it moves with the whole thing. Only issue I can see is watering evenly to the middle, and you can use a PVC curved elbow slid down into the screen and below the foliage like a funnel if need be. If you are going SOG, you won't really do any training until flowering. I prefer the single ScrOG, myself. There's a five gallon hempy down there. Screen is 28"x28" and mounted to a pallet-like cart. The SOG will save you some veg time. All clones performing equally should be fine. I wouldn't recommend mixing strains. Mixing phenos is like roulette, but isn't AWFUL.

GB, I don't think I will do a SCROG, as I want to have these plants ready to go into flower as soon as the other ladies, that are now in the cabinet, are finished.

Depending on the number of clones that take root, I think i will plant all of them in the black 21 gallon container Hempy style and just let them do their thing. The math works out, with the drain hole at 2.5 inchs, to be around 3.5 gallons per watering/nutes, and thats just to fill the reservoir, to get the proper .333 runoff I would think 4.5 to 5 gallons per watering. Thats a lot of water and will be a lots of nutes. Recycle the water/nutes? That should work!

I am considering increasing the amount of coco to Perlite. Have run 50/50 but did not charge the coco right so I had problem with that grow. Now that I have the process down I think I can go 60/40 or 65/35. Any thoughts or suggestion are appreciated!
Hell that could change tomorrow, I have got another 7 + weeks with them two ladies in the closet now.

19 days of 12/12
The ladies are looking just grand, buds are beginning to form, cola's are stretching, and they are drinking about 1.5 to 2 quarts a day. Pics soon!

Well that's it here!

Great posts GB. I wish I could rep you.

Thanks, JD! Just trying to spread the knowledge - what little I have. The more I read, the more I find out how much I know AND DO NOT KNOW. Even when someone is doing everything right, you can't always copy EXACTLY what they are doing into your own situation. I am just really glad to have found a few active folks in a relevant thread that aren't always talking out their asses. It's really cool to see the different hempy applications. I am still tweaking my own.

Now, if I could just get my 5 gallon buckets to produce on par with @ISK 's 2 liter bottles, I'd be happy (but who wouldn't be). That's just showing off, dude!
