well i own both. most of the 360 issues are from heat. yea they screwed up big time on that, but so did mazda with the rx7 and its still badass. i grew up on playstation, its just that theres more games out for 360, and its way cheaper. my ps3 new cost $399 with one controller and no games. obv i wouldnt buy a 360 new, but i bought an elite with a jasper motherboard, two wireless controllers and 2 games for $180. its kinda like buying a used honda compared to a new chevy. ill always buy a chevy (btw fuk u ford(hehe)), but for the money the others pretty good.

I really could care less. I hate the Xbox. The fact is the console is really just a pile of shit thanks to Microsoft. You have to buy a Microsoft hard drive? Come on. Honestly the Sega Dreamcast can still hold down the xbox360. Sony doesn't need to release anything at all. They are way ahead of its time. In fact the PS3 is the most advanced you can get a console really. Nothing much more Microsoft can do. When Microsoft can release a game that is even remotely close to its days as Metal Gear Solid 4 is, then ill take a glance. Do not throw me the BS that the Kenetic is awesome. I really don't care for it. I am happy with having a controller in my hand while sitting on a couch (stoners paradise).

I just hope they dont call it the "720" haha sounds lame.

Only reason its the 720 this time around is because Microsoft's greedy ass is going to charge that for the console.

They should name the new Xbox "Reg Ring" just to step on toes. But the Red Ring model will be system failure safe

i dont have kenetics. i might if i can fight my roomate live with it...that'd be so fucked up lmao. yea, i do agree the ps3 is better in most situations, but to me it is as my opinion was earlier. i love my mac and screw pc.....

Same here, or the next Playstation, or new Wii, or next whatever. I'm a gamer, I don't really give a fuck which system is better. Fanboys are just poor people who can't afford to have them all, IMO. A real gamer will have every console.

A real gamer is someone who is dedicated to gaming. You don't have to have every console. Most people cant afford every console. I am a gamer and I ditch the xbox because it really is a pile of shit.

My issue, the have yet to release a 360 that the drive dosen't fail or eventually get the red ring of death. I was a hudge Xbox fan boy but after going through the crap with microsoft to get mine repaired i say fuck them! for the money the PS3 is a much better buy, you get a system and a blue ray player, all the xbox had was the failed HD drive,

I can argue that the PS3 is better than the 360 the same way I could argue that the 360 is better than the PS3 and the reason I can do that is because I own both. It's really pretty stupid for someone to say that one system is better than the other when they only own one.

If you're too poor to own them all it's nobody's fault but your own and that shouldn't be a reason to say that the system you picked is better than the other.

For the record, the Playstation Network is a pile of shit compared to Xbox Live.

Got the red ring three times. MS would send me an empty box and i would send in the xbox. 7-10 days later brand new (not refurbished) xbox at my door with no shipping costs. Im cool with the problems as long as CS is that good. jmo

Blu-ray shouldn't be an argument as to which console is a better game system. You can pick up a blu ray player for $100 at Wal Mart these days and it's only going to get cheaper. BTW, everyone knows that HD DVD was better than blu ray, it was Blockbuster who decided which format would stick around when they decided to go with blu ray...and now they're going out of business too.

Hopefully they go with solid state drives in the new xbox

actualy sony is one of the largest movie distrubution companys, then with DISNEY and blockbuster on there side, they won bluray/hd war, either way disc based gaming should die out before any next gen console comes out, at least i hope so... on psn you download a game you can also download it on like 4-9 other ps3 depending on game, and having no disc cuts game price in half. so for some games you could pay like 60-70 bucks and have that shit on like 15 consoles at the same time, Its probably the same for xboxlive also

if the next xbox doesn't give better head than my gf i'll pass on it...

When you buy a game, you're paying for the the system. Microsoft and sony both LOSE a couple hundred dollars everytime they sell a system. All profits come from games.

You're right darth, that was going to be my next point that eventually discs will die out since it will all probably come down to downloading movies. It just makes no sense to include blu ray in a discussion about which console is better...shit, the Wii doesn't even play regular DVD's but you can't play Mario Galaxy 1 or 2 (2 of the greatest games in the last few years, IMHO) on the 360 or the PS3. This year you have to own a PS3 to be able to play Uncharted 3 and Infamous 2 but then you have to own a 360 towards the end of the year to be able to play Gears of War 3.

I'm looking forward to all of those including Portal 2 and Legend of Zelda for the Wii.

I fully agree, I'm a very dedicated gamer and there are a ton of games I want to play this year, the only way I'll be able to do that is to have all 3 major consoles.
