Xbox 720????

yes, they are planning on starting development for the new xbox. sony, as usual isnt yet. they have not released any specs on there plans, but from the image, it doesnt even look like theres a place for a disc tray, hd connection or really anything. im assuming this is due to the new 360 having internal hd's. if anybody has any info on this id love to hear it. btw, it wont be released for years, so chill.

You can see the little triangle where you insert discs... looks like they might slide in instead of a tray.

just looks so small. im wondering if there going to use those disc like gamecube which would totally screw up dvd playability or if they are planning on using a totally new writing tech. it wouldnt surprise me if games came on an sd card. but id still be pissed that i gotta get my dvd player out. microsoft wont release anything other than this pic.

Looks more like a fan based render and an ugly ass design. If they are PLANNING to START development....then how in the hell did they already design a prototype. That's fake bro. Plain and simple. Plus if there is no disc setup its because everyone is moving to cloud style downloads, saves and gaming.

Got anything other then a video game cheat code site looking for hits to there site? It's a mock up. You apparently don't know much about R&D, Development of systems or really the development of anything. You don't start to develope a product by making the shell first. That's usually the last step. First comes concept, then usually some expectations of hardware etc then you look at your UI and once you have an entire wall full of design decisions etc you make a render then you manufacture a prototype like the one above. You don't make a plastic place holder of what you want it to look like then develope around that and hope everything you want fits. You have been duped by a non-reputable cheat code company by a nice PhotoShop render. Sorry to shit on your parade.

They are hiring for people to work on the PROJECT....not an already developed product bro.

It's honestly about time for a hardware update... the machines graphics power is still direct x9, pc gaming is in dx11...

wow man, *smacks self in face* that is only one of many, many designs i have seen for it , just thought it may get more hits with that ugly thing. and btw, i do know about r&d, what your opinion about how they come about it doesnt matter. i have worked with the setup of the detroit auto show and about a third of those cars dont have any drivetrain at all. this thread is not to dispute this ugly ass model. its to see if anyone else knows about it. thank you for your input, but its not what im looking for. google xbox 720 and look for yourself.
