Why so small

get that plant out of that peat pot and into a regular one if youre not using a water bath pan.

I bet your plant is constantly starving for water, or completely over watered but the dirt and pot dry out before the plant can use the water efficiently.

Bottom line, get that shit into another pot.

i hadnt thought of that, they are prone to drying out quicker than your plant can use it. i used a pan for my pots...

that aside, i still dont think its a transplant issue.

duh itʻs sooo obvious! you just got to listen to what the plant is telling you...it wants to be a bonsai tree! lol juuuust kidding. what you could do though is keep it on a tray with pebbles and water. That way the water source would be under the roots instead of over it. ya dig? roots grow downwards for a reason homie.

okayy so i should transplant to a bigger pot and water it less. anything else i shpould do.

NO just dont do anything at all. wait 4 or 5 days then make sure its dry as a desert and water it heavily with distilled or ph'd water. let it sit for another 4 or 5 days and snap another pic and post it. well know then if its a dud or not. dont spray with water or anything for now.

if its on 24/0 light then put it on 18/6 or 20/4

give it peroxide so the root can breath you are water her way to much let her dry out sometime bro

I've got some sprouts in little peat pots as well they sit in the sun and then under cfls at night but i just give them each a couple dribbles of water a day instead of a full on watering, and those things do dry out quickly.

yeah i put mine under cfl lights at night for 16/8

u mean 18/6? if not change that to 18/6 and wait a couple days until its so dry and light that it feels like its an empty pot. let it dry all the way thru to the bottom. then wait a few days without watering and take the pic. you got more genetics in case this falls through?

You dont have to "TRANSPLANT" out of that peat pot, just bury it inside of a real pot. Thats the beauty of peat pots!!!! the problem is just youre not using the whole peat pot setup. You need a pan that has shallow water in it so the peat and soil can act as a "wick" and pull the water into it as needed. I think you got the 1.00 peat pot refill thing from home depot. The dome and pan you Should have with that setup is right next to where you got those at.

Pretty much, your plant is stunted now because of the constant change of Being arid and dry as shit, and then *most likely* being completely drowned and over watered.

It may not be a transplant issue, but i just want him/her to get that peat pot into another pot so the plant gets proper watering. Not the overwatering/dry as fuck that i think is happening.


Ive used those peat pots tons of times, and you most def DO need a pan, and if you can a dome because even with the pan the water is going to evaporate pretty quickly.

i totally agree with you. the solution i used (i didnt have a dome, just the pan) was the spray. i would only water every few days of course, but each day i would spray the outside of the pot down (careful to not OVER soak it) til it was good and wet to help retain the moisture in the soil better.

Ya the last time around with peat pots i smashed my dome into about 12 million peices after leaving it outside over the winter. So i had to substitute with AT LEAST ONCE A DAY spray downs with water. Got me through, but id never do peats without a dome again.
