Why do you newbs always grow auto's?

I don't know about rosin, just regular butter and tinctures made here. And those 2 plants were 58g and 32g of bud currently at 65% And a quart jar and a pint of frosty trim and lower buds. Together they were 5+ oz of total plant material(3+ oz bud) in a square foot of grow space. Personally I smoke the lower buds and trim myself. Gets me just as high just doesn't look as pretty as a tight top nug.

58+32 = 90 which is about 3 ounces :( for a 2 plant haul that's not very good, I just harvested a 16oz(it was nearly 500 grams) dried bud plant (6 oz of dried trim) that was a photoperiod plant with 4 weeks veg time grown in hydroponics.

How much space did you have? 4'x4'? 330g/m2. A 3'x3' is 600g/m2 for a 500g haul, that's pretty good. I've got 12.5 sq ft, 540w, and 23+ in that space, a tiny 1.5 oz per plant is 750g/m2.

That looks good man. I'm doing the Vault comparative grow so there's loads of us with them on the go around here right now, I'm just trying to steal tips off everyone. I'm still not sure what you can actually get away with on an auto, like everyone says they can't be topped or cut cos their lifespan is too short to recover, but then people come in with massive autos that have been topped... Think I might just let mine go natural with a bit of lst for my first go, and I've got 2 seeds left to play with later :bigjoint:

So this is the first flower room of my 4. Each flower room will have three 1000w bulbs. Which allows for a three week weaving stage for the trellis/scrog and 9 weeks of flower. We are hoping for 6 pounds ever three weeks.. At 2k a pound that's around 208,000 a year ;)

But from a breeders stand point I can only see one reason to sell them and that's for buyers to return to buy more seeds. Great business idea, but I believe in quality.

I'm not saying they are completely trash. But I just think they are a waste of time.

i choose auto so i can have different types of strains in my growbox without any effects. always a 18/6 hours cycle, and doesnt matter if one is in veg and the others are in flowering mode.

train your plants, let them grow, live your life. harvesting time just improves your life when its finished.

Humboldt Blue Dream

I prefer autos over Photos ( even though this for my own consumption )
I get the quality meds i want without drama -

10.30 oz. ( 3 gallon smart pot )
FFOF SOIL with Light Warrior Top soil 2" depth
WATER ONLY UP TO WEEK 6
Dynagro Bloom ( week 6-8 ) 1 tsp per gallon

Next one will be 5 gallon hempy bucket run .

No doubt part of it is to keep you slave to a seed bank.

My opinion has changed on autos a couple times. The reason I'm saying the breeding has improved is because I've seen it with my own eyes. With reputable breeders I am getting consistent good smoke on par with photo plants I have been getting.

I am in the process of trying to make fem seeds with auto. I have been setting a plant by itself and putting a trash bag to isolate a branch with cs. No nanners yet. When I get some I will see how the seeds to turn out. If it is good then I will buy a few different kinds and self and cross them and I'm sure that will give me all the auto seeds I want to play with.


I'm not all auto either, nor fem beans. I collect and grow all them. Hell before I ordered seeds I would get them lime everyone used to. From seeded pot. I still have seeds saved and labeled from those days.

I have seeds saved from fire brick weed when I came across it.

Got to love those 16+ week flowering sativas.

Yeah , i saved a shitload of the dreaded street swag sativa ( mexican red )
Be nice to cross with a Low Ryder or Dwarf for a large single cola grow.
Or crossed with Mephisto Blueberry. (I like the sound if this one )
