ok so i have 2 14W LED that = 75 w MH/HPS
i went with LED because they are low heat, low energy, and last long.
how much wattage or even lumen would i need for the veg area thats 1 1/2 ft wide X 2 ft in X 3 ft high.

Start a thread saying "Amphibiosaardvarks grow journal" and add to it daily with updates and you will get visitors.

My auto is on day 74 of flower and the leaves are begining to drain of green color though i give it shots of nutes every once in a while. Does this just mean it is nearing the end? twas bagseed.

Kinda new to the fourms... Thanks to all the members for all the great info...

Regarding my ballast: sunlight supply, gro pro 1000 SWBL

This ballast will run at either 120v or 240v but I can't figure out how to do it (at 240v)

My other two ballasts have the rotating plate that lets you plug into either the 120v or flip it over and plug into the 240v. This one doesn't have the rotation plate.

The power plug is a 4 pin versus the normal 3 pin (like for a computer power supply).

I guess my question is this...is there a special cord that plugs into this ballast the taps the 240v terminals (hot/hot) instead of the 120v (hot/neutral)

So where the heck can I find that cable, or is there maybe a converter? I've dug around online but didn't find what I think I'm looking for.

Any help is appreciated.

You are doing an awesome job Young Buck. What happened to the other two guys that were supposed to be helping everyone?

A lot of the questions I've seen posted in here are easily answerable by simply doing either a RIU search or looking on Google.

If Young Buck has helped you out, click on the star next to "journal this post" at the bottom of his posts and give the man some Rep!!

an old trick or quick fix for temp problems is to put a frozen 2ltr bottle infront of a turning fan

but if your having heat problems you need more ventilation, not less
