Why would someone shoot squirrels with a shotgun?

It is easier to hit them.
Or some people can only get one gun.

A good shotgun you can hunt everything.

Be careful who you lump me with. I have no interest in militias as most are really crazy, crazier than me.
Now that said, I have a group of friends, and we are prepared. That is all I will say about that.

For everyone. There over 600 gun laws, none of which stop a criminal.
Why? They are a criminal.

You are allowed to build your own fire arm. Pistol, rifle, shotgun what ever.
It would be yours and you could never transfer it.

And next, do you really think "Full Automatic" are illegal is wrong.
You have a set of guns that are transferable machine gun they are registered with the government and legal to sell.
You just need class 3 weapons permit.

You can get the right FFL license and build fully automatic guns.

There are a lot of full auto guns out there that are owned by legal owners.

@ chingown

If you get a concealed weapons permit you do not have to fill out 4473. You pull it out and no paper work needed.
That is how you bypass that.

If you purchase a gun from a licensed seller of firearms, you have to fill out form 4473 no matter what, it makes no difference if you have a CCW permit or not. The CCW only lets you off the hook for the NICS background check at the dealer's discretion.

Form 4473 is not about you, its about the seller. Its how the seller of the firearms is able to legally transfer title out of his book.

It's like having a double life to keep your 2nd Amendment rights. I bounce back and forth from my gun sites where I share my reloading and sport shooting passion. I shot almost 15,000 pistol rounds this year and keep that much on hand just in materials.

One day I'm here with RIU sharing our love for cannabis. .. next day I'm at a state troopers house handling the guns in his safe buying a pistol completely legally. Privileged to me I'm his worst fucking buyer in the law's eyes. True story though I didn't know he was a cop til I got to his house he was an FFL and had posted a gun for sale on my forum. I paid cash and made him believe I was absolutely no threat. He then showed me his reloading room and contents of his gun safe. I held 3 of his weapons it was pretty fucking weird knowing I was a drug dealer who keeps a chopper and tons of shit that would make the news had I held my ground.
Basically the cop has you come over to house so he can show off his guns and accessories. Or you could say the cop has you come over to his house because cops have GIGANTIC egos that need constant stroking or they will start shooting people or choking them.

FWIW, a felon can clear the NICS check, just do it at X-Mas time at a big chain store that does lots of gun sales. If it takes more than 3 days before they can get to your NICS check, you automatically pass the check and they throw your info away and you get cleared.

it just struck me in the gut with 'felon' and nics. i defend your view but i sure don't want to help felons.
Felons who want a gun normally just buy them from other private people where the only thing exchanged is currency and a firearm. Or felons can just go to gun shows and also buy used guns with cash only.
Its simple and easy for any felon to get a firearm, A NICS check was never intended to help the US citizen stay safer, it was devised to limit firearms sellers from liability. Just PRESENTED by your legislators as a way to help keep you safe. NICS checks don't keep you safe one bit.

So any knowledge or truth to the fact / rumor, that if you get a 420 card, you cannot buy firearms anymore ?
I know that getting caught with weed will strip you of the right to bear arms.
That's what the nice Idaho State trooper told me as he took my protopipe and gave me back my pistol.

Several people in my family have their ccw. I was going to take the class but decided to wait. Ky is got a bill in the works if your a vet and have small arms training you don't need the class and they will waive the fees.

One of my travel stops was 13 weeks in Hazard. I worked in Hyden covering the county there too. (thousand sticks, something about hell)

Still THE BEST outdoor stuff I ever smoked in that area, must be the soil. Doing homehealth in that area gave me a new found respect for the mountain folk. I was treated like royalty by almost everyone.

That is close to me and yes very good outdoors here. Ky at one time was very well known for their smoke.
I can show you patches of wild hemp here. Grows back every year.

Someone mentioned that with black powder this is another way to buy a gun without paperwork.
Could even buy a black powder revolver and then get a conversion cylinder.
But I think the legalities say you need to register the revolver after a conversion.

You can just make a gun with a 3d printer. AR-15's are easy to make too. You can get a 80% pre-built lower and drill a couple of holes in it to finish it and then just build a whole firearm from parts. All easy to do by yourself with just a few easily sourced tools and parts. AK-47 is not as modular and takes more skill to make.

I would be curious about building a Glock from a 3d printed polymer frame.
