Man i hope youre right but i dont think so lol. Im serious you ought to write a short story on how a redneck militia takes over the country, i bet you could make it funny too maybe.
no, militia alone couldn't do it. I'll give you that one. If all the militia were to mobilize under a secular goal based on some insanely unprecedented motives (ex.govt. sanctioned involuntary sterilization program) then two things gonna happen. A nation wide militia would mobilize in the hundreds of thousands and add to that the moral conundrum the enlisted standing armed services personnel would be put in. I wager more than half would stand with the militia. It's all about what are you fighting for? Piss off enough humans and with or without guns powers will fall.

now where were we? Oh yeah tit's and guns!

i respect your opinion, i do. and for the sake of argument i will give you the one thing that would make nearly every gun totting american want a solution. Newtown, CT.
this gut wrenching tragedy made everyone step back and think. i so dearly wish it could be solved.i firmly believe all the worlds problems are solvable through 'education'. it's just too high a goal with a small pool of citizens refusing, for whatever reason, to receive said educations. then you spiral down what is proper education.i said 'more well written lit. for guns than against and i think i would like for you to help me in this matter. can you find me/us some good anti-gun quotes? i'll start on the for side.
"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- (Thomas Jefferson)

i'm not trying to be a jerk. to me these are axioms and i might be able to speak for others in that we would like to see the other sides supporting axioms. i can't find any

ty there are too many people in the algebraic set (variables) to say 'i didn't go off the deep end, so it's not the drugs fault.knowing someones mental state is nigh impossible.yes i believe his thoughts were so convoluted, for whatever reason, he woke up saying 'im killing shit today'. it's a game of numbers and odds. there's 6 billion plus population, each having a grey matter (brain) reliant on millions of synapsis working in harmony. and we know life forms are a product of their environment.we could have put him in rainbow painted rooms with happy songs all day his entire life but uncontrollable and unknown forces would make him only see the dirt on the wall, the unpleasing nature of a certain lyric. this all compounded by the introduction of a chemical compound not readily available in nature. it's darwin playing russian roulette .and you have 6 billion computer simulations running millions of variables. i conjecture you could predetermine mankinds tragedies using some sort of simulations. some whackjob will think it's a good idea to chop off and eat his foot. it's said often in the universe everything that can happen, will happen. wtf can anyone do against such vast awe inspiring natural complexity? only answer is reduce the number set. instead of 6 billion people causing 2 million tragedies, you need 1,000 people causing 5 tragedies. it's such a sad topic.

even more damming is that Newtown was perpetrated with a legal firearm. giving credence to ' laws do not stop the lawless'.

I might lol

But look at the civil war

A country divided the south were all hunters and farmers with no military experience and not alot of resources

The north had the power of the military who trained there asses off

And guess who won most of the battles??????

The south although they didn't win the war the south won pretty much 75% of conflicts

Like I said poor farmers and hunters that said

"fuck them we'll join in and fight for our rights as a country"

So every gun you have purchased. You have committed a felony doing so.

Do you also support ex felons losing their 2nd amendment rights as well?
Actually there is nothing illegal about purchasing firearms as a cannabis user, no laws yet pertaining to private sales, which are the sales i like anyways no paper work involved. You are however commiting a felony buying from any authorized FFl dealer who by federal law is required to provide you with a form 4473 to complete, and you are a cannabis user of any type or form and answer "no" on question 11e. There are also no guidelines on the purchase of black powder rifles/revolvers by cannabis consumers even from a valid FFl holder. You can also go the 80% complete receiver route as mentioned in a post above. As a cannabis consumer in America, medical or not, there are still plenty of ways to legally obtain a firearm.
