so when are we going ?

.
My wife drove by a cattle car accident and that stopped her from eating beef. LOL, she eats all the other animals though.
Eat what you want TWS I'm not mocking you for it, I just prefer to know where my food comes from and that when it was slaughtered wasn't too sick to walk.

All my stuff comes from Wally or Lowes......I believe in amending the soil with Miraclegro potting mix and leaf mould about half and half, adding chemical fertilizers as indicated by testing.....this work is done in the fall, after harvest in preparation for next spring....that way the soil has all winter to incorporate the additions...this being properly done, it's not necessary to fertilize again until bloom time and maybe not even then. I have a wonderful crop yearly and, as far as I know, have never starved a plant.

For a soil grow, yeah I think people get sucked into the marketing and think that nutrients are 'fuel' to a plant. So either the more the better, or there is a magical exact precise ratio of nutrients that if provided will double your yield, or double your THC, or 1/2 time to harvest, or whatever. It is marketing hype. Now granted, if you know nothing about soil, spending the extra money on a premixed product specifically for cannabis is probably a good idea. But I can go to the quarry and get a cubic yard of biocomp non-hot compost/soil for $40. That is a lot of quality dirt.
