How many grows do you have under your belt?
All my grows have been out door naturally. I recently moved so now I have to revert to indoor cultivating. I just want to make sure I go right. I have bought all the equipment necessary.

How many grows do you have under your belt?
Well all my grows have been outdoors in ground soil prepped w amendments like humus, guano, fulvic acids ect. I recently moved and now have to revert to indoors. I have all the equipmet ready just want to make sure i go in the right direction. Light i have 1000w LED ful spectrum, upto 1500 micromoles, Space i have a 5(l)x5(w)x7(h). I plan on growing 4 plants Strain Blue sunset Sherbert. I have the PH and Ec meters. Im really looking for some big colas and dense nugs, as out doors plants were amazing. lost in the hype of using hardeners toward the end but yet want to attain the original cannabis smells. I will keep it simple and everything dialed in. Thank you for your advice. Much appreciated.

Aren't you supposed to use epsom with jacks and calnit?
Epsom is part of the 3 2 1 regiment. However I used to feed the 321 at ¾-⅘ strength not full. Now I feed 4 grams of jacks and 2 of Cal nit per gal. The ppm on full strength 4 2 vs ⅘ of 321 is actually a little better. Only one thing is a little lower in ppm and it's only like 7 ppm lower. I hope that makes sense

Ive been thinking about Jacks, then hear all the hype with athena, then that its all the same and with GH you can grow some great plants.
The simplest way I've found for me to grow pot indoors the last 22 years other than DWC is using ProMix HP with AN 3-part nutes with RO water. Zero dicking around with pH ever or worrying about crud in my tap water causing issues.

The last few years I got a bunch of Gaia Green products and tried going organic with less that spectacular results so sticking to the easy way.

For many all organics is easiest and the 3 years I grew outside in the ground I had really good grows but it doesn't translate to indoors for me. Due to hemp farming in the area outdoor grows are just going to get seeded but no great loss as I hate dealing with all the bugs that end up stuck all over the buds and dealing with the weather and high winds. I'm so far north in Alberta that only autos work outside so not growing huge plants anyway.

I've experimented with a bunch of different supplements which was a waste of money and time so only use the AN 3-part, some Big Bud, bit of calmag and any brand will do and some epsom salts.

Some manipulation of feed ratios depending on the growth stage of the plants and switching to Lucas Formula type of feeding after the stretch with extra epsom and some K in later flower gets me decent yields with minimal fuss. I've got so much pot stashed away in the freezer and bags now I don't even have any growing atm.

Keeping it simple seems to be the best way to get decent results.

Yes, ive grown some great ourdoor nugs as well. & yes the typical bug attacted and all the good stuff lol. Im thinking of keeping it really simple w AN 3-part, some Big Bud, bit of calmag, salts and a few others. I go through an Oz a week so i def need to start stashing in the freezer too lol Im still checking out grow journals just to be ready for any mistakes that happen. On another note do you reccomend and high yeliding seed strains? high THC levels? Thanks for the tips as well OLD MED USER highly appreciated. Ill take a hit for you my brother :)

Hype is the operative word.

A $9 bag of Megacrop will perform just as well.
Ive heard of this one, Is this like an all in one nutrient? still cant figure out how it works if diffrnet nutes are needed throughout different stages of the plant. Then again DR. Buggabee on YT says to use a 20-10-20 Throughtout the grow. Hmmmm and explantions brother?

MaxiBloom with tap water from start to finish........no additives.........cost is $18 per grow for me.
That is amazing Just with Maxibloom? Just like megacrop, are they nan all in one? Do you have a grow journal or pics so i can see your ladies? Mick that is amazing. Start to finish.... Im intrigued. WOW

The specific brand of nutes is largely irrelevant; they're far more similar than different.

I gave Megacrop as an example because of the price but it's not the best choice for a reservoir.

I also use Maxi Gro/Bloom; cheap and effective.

Bugbee grows hemp, while many things map over, not all do.

Beautifull ladies! Are you talking about the Maxibloom 5-15-14? Am i correct>? Thats excluding the Maxigro 10-5-14? Just Maxibloom? If so thats amazing. for just 1 Ingredient. Throw me some feeding schedle advice. Im willing to try this. As they say less is more and simple is better.
What you need to do is totally ignore all the marketing that tells you to buy 7 different additives. Sweeteners and hardens and all that other junk do absolutely nothing, there's zero science behind the marketing pitch, they just want your money in their pocket instead of yours.

The reason you can grow huge high quality yields with one simple cheap fertiliser is because the plant is amazing and if you meet her very simple needs she will do the amazing part for you without any snake oil additives. Give her NPK, Cal mag and the micros in the right balance and she will do the rest.
