Like, never going to work high, paying all your bills and managing your life and smoking on the side. Keeping it to yourself, and managing the risks involved with something that is for the most part against the law and frowned upon
I get high at work everyday and I have for the last 3 years never once has it made me unable to perform my job.

IMO a person is old enough to use mj when they have learned about priorities, when their old enough to take care of their self, when the use of mj or any orther drug is not interfering with their education or learning process, when a person has physically & mentally matured to the point that any health risk associated with youth use is mitigated, when a person has reached a point in their lives where using mj becomes a tool used to relax, help pain or other valid reasons.

If a persons mission is to simply stay as stoned as possible all the time just for the hell of it then IMO they are still not old enough,we have enough people who's main goal in life is to accomplish nothing, any drug thats over abused can be bad,i'd rather see responsible a 17 year old who does all the right things & keeps shit in perspective use mj over a 40 year old stoner who wants nothing more than to ride the sofa & smoke j's all day long.

right along with what I'm saying.............this is the difference between smoking responsibly, and irresponsibly.

i stay medicated 24/7.

if i can do my job at work....why shouldnt i go to work high??
It's against the rules where I work to be here high, so it is responisible to not come to work high since like I have a mortgage and other bills and all that. Now, can I sit around and wait for something to break while high? Sure, in IT if you do your job right you shouldn't have too much to do anyway. But it's against the rules, and an employer can fire you for being high despite a doctor's perscription, so not going to work high is a responsible thing in my case and for many others as well.

I consider that they age when someone can smoke is when they have enough maturity to understand they effects and how to use them in a positive manner.

When a teenager starts drinking at a party or drinking at all i think he should be given a joint and told that if he wants to use a drug then it be Marijuana and nothing else!

How is it irresponsible for a 40 year old adult to choose to sit on the couch and smoke j's all day if that is what they feel like doing? Doesn't sound irresponsible to me.

this is just as bad as the government saying that alcohol is ok and nothing else...... kids need to be educated on ALL drugs, and then they can make the decision for themselves.... I wouldn't let my kids do anything other than drink or smoke pot..... but I will absolutely talk to them about all other drugs, and give them the truth.

how does that person pay the bills? my tax money? someone at that age has bills to pay, and sitting around smoking J's all day doesn't get the bills paid.

I never said that they shouldn't be informed on other drugs And i never said that Weed should be the only drug they should be permitted to take.

I was saying that instead of having lots of teens drinking while partying and such they could smoke as the danger is far lower.
I think that kids should be informed on all drugs truthfully and not constantly lied to.

I hate moochers too but free money is free money. If someone can exploit the system I say go for it because the system exploits millions of people everyday.

If you work at a place that it's not a problem then it's not irresponsible, if you do then it is, simple as that. Are you saying that going to work high is never irresponsible for anyone? I was just giving examples and all, not trying to pick on you.
