I don't know if you are over at hydro breed, but if you are I'm be giving a way some "Tester Kits" I was lucky enough to get one of hackers and I had a lot of fun with it, plus I would like to see what others think of my smoke. Under the adivce of a few people I respect I did "advanced stage pruning" this I am told should increase yield. Took the 1st picture for ref. on how much leaf i took off, I'm still not sure I took off enough, but it will do

damn looks like you took away some nice leaves there... Sometimes it's a sacrifice that needs to be made but make sure you don't take out too much of the plant's powerhouse ;)

Yeah man I wasnt sure if I took to much, I dont know I always was under the impression that more leaves equaled more power like giant solar panels, but I have had like 10 people swear by this method for increasing yield so I guess I see what I think in about 5-8 days because Its 50 days in today:D

In my opinion the leaves are very much so the solar panels to your plant... the problem that can occur in my opinion is that some times a large fan leaf can block out 3 - 4 smaller fan leaves lower on the canopy. Some strains are worth trimming because of this. I do my best to eliminate shadows with multiple lights off the canopy a couple feet and by spreading out the canopy to let light into the inside of the plant. How far did you say you are from flower? They are looking really nice either way ;)

When i did the trim I was about 45 days in to flower

A rule of thumb for all plants is to never take.off more than 1/3 of the foliage. This i learned from landscaping and non mmj horticulture. Like when u cut ur grass don't cut more than 1/3 or you will get brown spots where the grass dies same with plant pruning on most plant.

lol 50 % already? You might want to consider taking it before you degrade the thc too much further ;) Or at least take part of the plant to try what it's like at different levels of amber
