What to do?

Well guys and gals, I have this huge mother plant and I was thinking about putting up a grow log or journal I dont know what you guys call them haha Just so you all could see what I do. I figured I would ask you want you all wanna see me do? The tent I have free is a 3x3.

I can use a 400hps or a 600hps, or I can use a 400hps and 250MH.

I can use a 2x2 flood tabe(9-12cuts) or two gallon grow bags(can fit 16roughly) or I can top her about 6 to 8 inches and do a big bush grow.

So the question is what would you all like to see?

Here is mom

The door stop in the back ground should give you all a height reference

Whats the strain? Id say super crop the hell out of it and make it one big bushy grow in that 3x3 under the 400w hps you have.

Sour Grapes (Sour Diesel and Granddaddy Purple) and hey man if your jacks dont come along, I'll have a few extra cuts I would think. :weed: Thanks for the imput man

use the 400 hps and 250 mh on the 1 plant. take a few clones from low branches and trim off everything between the pot and 10" to 14" to account for
stretch.

the masses have spoken haha and a bush grow it will be, topped her and trimmed some of the under brush. Will go 12/12 in a few days did a lot of topping...she needs a few day recovery. Also I thought I would throw in kings, kush black widow, cheesequake. Give them about another week to veg in the 3 gallon bags let the root mass build up.variety is the spice of life right

That thing will be massive if you can get enough light to those leaves. What kind of soil is that you have in there... looks familiar ;) I love the look of that plant can't wait to see how this turns out.

Good ol' Fox farms Ocean Forest. I use there whole line from soil, nutes, solube. i love the shit. Yeah I know what you are saying about the light, I'm thinkin the 400hps(whats in the pic) may not get the job done. I can see some shading already on some of the lower leaves. I'm lovin her look to, this phenotype of the sour grapes doesnt have a huge strech she will only put on like a 3rd of her height now. Should be a looker for sure though. Perhaps the 600 is in order...

Theres a 400w switchable mh/hps on phoenix craigslist for $95 its a sun system hood and ballast, id get it. Double 4's would be legit.

Sunday morning when I opened the tent up to take a look I saw my hood on top of my bush. Damage could of been worse but all the same is still pretty bad I would say a good 25% of the canopy is gone... sucks but such is life, I still may flower her out I dont know. Also lost a kings kush and both the cheese and the widow took some damage.
Plant Damage

Stem Damage

The reason behind the damage, one is how it should look and the other is how it looks

And how she looks this afternoon. Did one more super crop on her, Ill flower her once the stem heals up a bit. shes a champ, still should give me nice run I'm thinkin

Just so you know, as long as there is still skin attached to the branch, it can be saved in most cases. You can duct tape it back together. If the breaks are all the way, you can always clone.

That's what i was thinking. Why not just clone the broken branches, I'm sure they'll take a week or two to root but its better than a complete loss. What brand tent are you running?

Yeah I know this I even have bonding gel(I enjoy bonsai gardening) I just didnt want to take the extra veg time while it fixed its self. I'm trying to clear some room for a seed run I want to do.
