What in gods name is this nonsense...??? Who would USE this?!

Yeah.. there are a handful of University researchers that had mixed things to say about it..

Some saying that it is not understood on a cellular level what is really happening, but, with side by side tests.. the results are there.

I don't doubt it... plants did evolve in the ground after all...

The thing is.... you could build this device for next to nothing.. paying that much $ for it is ridiculous.

The ground bar in your panel is nothing more than wire ran to a large bar buried under ground.. You could very easily ground your plants with materials laying around your home..
yeah, simple, break off the 2 power leads on a ext. cord leaving on the ground, plug in your plant. Pretty easy. then buy 1 of these http://www.biowaveindustries.com/mini.htm and you should have a %50 yield increase.

Wow.. what the hell is that ^ thing?

The power of subharmonic frequencies, huh.. Man, I'm all full on little electric gardening gizmos for the day..

maybe tmrw.. haha.

My buddy actually had this spinning device that looked kind of like a spinning metal hourglass that was supposed to put out a frequency that increases yield in his op. I'll ask him what it was and get back here.

And thus we see why people build silly contraptions like this. There is one born every minute.
If we are trying to simulate the outdoors indoors, putting Earth Ground to your plants makes a bit of sense.
It would work with hydro too.

I remember years ago some myth about tying tomato to metal stakes with panty hose.
LOL, I forget the electrical theory.

Hmmm, seeing the video was fascinating. I have a multi-meter. I wonder if I could replicate the results of his first shot... where he gets a reading on the soil itself, followed by a change in touching the plant. Which isn't to say that any of this stuff is needed to grow or produce a healthy plant or buds, just interesting.

well...the balloon thing didn't work...I was afraid to test it by rubbing the balloon [a green one...ya never know!] on my own head so I used the cat instead...all it really seemed to do was piss the cat off...

but! While I was in the bathroom cleaning the bloody scratches on my arms and face I had an epiphany!!

two words....Plant Whisperer!!!!

think about it...:hump:
Son of a BITCH! ...beat me to it! Bureau of Silly Ideas indeed!

In a heartbeat bro. ;) But nothing will beat the time I got a 10g per/watt yield using 2 flashlights and a picture of the sun. ;)
(sorry, my favorite quote from this site... but I can't remember who's sig I saw it in)

I think that was FDD2BLK but i could be wrong

you can simulate this device with a stereo set at irritating volume levels. I recommend Norwegian death metal at approx. 500mh. plants will love it.

I think there could be something to it. Think about it. Not saying there is but could be. If you complete a circuit and discharge any static electricity it could possibly protect the beneficial bacteria and who knows that what it does with the salts and minerals in the soil. I have seen stranger things. It is easy enough to try. Just hope no one sees it.:bigjoint:

I ground a portion of my flower room, and do see the difference. Not sure I can taste or sense it, but it is obvious. I've always done this for some hippie reason. The ones connected to the "ground" finish faster and show more growth at night time. I don't need to understand it, but I think its got something to do with the earth's messages to plants, a proven web of communications using electricity in the dirt(silica) ground. Mine is a simple box with female plugs on it that is drilled through the floor and spiked to the ground with wires from the dirt pots plugged into it. Walking barefoot daily has been shown to have health benefits, maybe related? I did it first to see the difference, and I did, so I didn't stop. a pain in theass it would be to do all the garden though, so never did. if people pay their asking price, and get what they wanted, who am I to say it's "too much" ?

It will have no real world value next to the 16 nutrient elements a plant needs, trouble is there is always someone thinking up the next 'need to get, people have dreams and conmen fulfill these dreams.
