It's just the way it was before Obama was President. The feds don't have the resources to really do anything and state authorities are not required to enforce federal law. Local Law enforcement will continue to enforce the laws of their states and Sessions would need a million man force to go across the country enforcing federal marijuana laws and he doesn't and won't. Trumps administration is just trying to distract from the book that's coming out and his breakup with Steve Bannon. He also said he's opening up offshore drilling and a couple of other things just to change the subject. He's a mentally deranged lunatic that can't stop an investigation that will expose the despicable things that he's done.
I wouldn't worry too much about this. One good thing about it is that many that were on the fence will not be voting Republican this coming November 6th because of this and other things. The GOP is losing control of Congress in the upcoming midterms. Trump will be neutered and after the 2020 election he'll be gone.

No, it's not. Before the first states legalized medical cannabis, there were no "easy" targets of licensed and publically owned grow facilities and dispensaries. Everything was underground.

Now, there are apps that will drive a task force right to the front door and give them a list of owners.

Thats is a really, really, much different. The only thing that has been protecting businesses and individuals in legal states was the cole memorandum. It's now gone.

I'm not too concerned. If they want to raid the dispensaries in Oregon they'll need thousands of agents. They don't have the resources and local law enforcement will follow state law and are not required to assist the feds and won't.

Well, what about the growers and processors then? OR is a seed to sale state; dispensaries can't buy off the black market.

It wouldn't take many raids to shut down every grower. How do dispensaries operate without cannabis?

I don't know what they will do. I just see what they can do, and what they have done.

Well after a long battle of two decades we finally won. now we can enjoy our cannabis but the biggest problem is that they limits the usage for recreational use. you can only order an ounce in a single day and the cost for the small quantity is also very high. Though there are pot delivery services in the state like Pot Valet who are providing cannabis at a very affordable price. but still its a bit costlier.

now all use need 2 do is get shrooms legalized so i can come over and try em

Since we are essentially just guessing what they will do here, my guess is they will just start with cease and desist letters to the dispensaries. They will have some grace period to shut down. The raids and seizures will be against the grow ops.

Their typical MO is one of shock and awe; essentially terrorism - fear and intimidation. They can get a LOT of tv and print coverage as they chop down thousands of plants and seize tons of product. At the same time, they will seize property and bank accounts. And of course, they will conflate all of this with cartels and diversion of product to the black market.

Then they will move against the dispensaries.

None of this will take thousands of people; a few dozen case workers and small teams of field agents would do it. They will surely find guns and other drugs at some of the locations, which they will tout as evidence that not all is peaceful or just "a legal business".

You can almost sit back and write their script.

Trump won't survive his first term mentally, let alone physically. He is in deep decline and everyone around him knows it. It's a race between senility and mcdonalds.

But even if you discount that, he has single highhandedly made the economy irrelevant. There aren't enough 1%'ers to matter electorally, and a lot of those don't support him anyway. The economy simply isn't good enough to make people go wow, and everything else makes them go ughhhh.

All the NYC museums just passed a $25 mandatory entrance fee for out of state residents. When it used to be free with donation upon entry. Now my trip to NYC is going to cost hundreds more dollars!!

The high price is a good thing and i support that about legal weed. This thing should be sensible and if you really want to price and stuff wont be an issue plus will keep some idiots away.
