Never done it with a tomato but with squash you inject the stem at the base of where the fruit is growing from. Grampa taught me how to do it, with sugar water I eventually used basic deduction from plant knowledge that the glucose was pretty much a squash steroid as long as ya didn't overdo it. (beet sugar causes more issues even though thats what gramp's used I prefer glucose or dextrose if glucose isn't avaible. or is it dextrose then glucose?)

P.S.
it's the only way any of my buttersquash and pumpkins and watermelon's survive the squirrel onslaught in my area, I even feed them peanut's and millet to appease them and still nature demands more sacrifice... sigh... I just don't wanna pay 80 bucks a lb for a decent organic veggie.
thanks for the info hippysmoke, i might try this glucose injection stuff. also i might've found a friend who can house the mother outdoors, that would be a big relief for my living room space lol (i'm talking about tomato mother of course, the "girls" aren't going anywhere haha).

Hrm, well I am already hoping to employ some of that technique with a large weighty cola at the end of each branch :) heres hoping! but seriously good thought thanks dude, yea I had to put her on the floor of her box today... I cried inside... she is now 4 inches from the cfl's but it is better to lose some weight from being too far from the light than from a cola growing into the bulb (as almost happened today got pics I need to upload probably tomorrow she looks nice the trichomes are developing already.)

Yes I have burned some cola's early on when I first got my tent (used duct tape to hold the lights now I use zip ties)now I kepp the light about 2.5-3" away so she doesn't go stretching on me before I get off work to check on her. Thats a new LST method right there "Cola and string LST method" haha

Oh BTW her and the clones' are looking lovely!!!

thanks smokey!

passing out but I had give you guys a glance into the strange mind of a stoned hippsymoke before bed

"sort of like how if you have a group of people who survive a plane crash or some other disaster and end up stranded I don't care if there isn't a single boy scout among them give em all just a little bit of reefer (not enough to make em stupid just enough to not over think) and instincts will start coming in!... oh and if they actually are blessed with gift of a surviving "stonegyver" in the persons stated well fire no worries he can light up anything with anything you know them stoners... you know the kind that put martha stewart to shame with the delightful concoctions they meld for the munchies from a combination of all the left over cheese in each bag some fritoes and a can of hormel chili that was hidden away during the holocaust and may in fact have by now turned into liquor like a 12 year old twinkie... yea those stoners... I bet after that stoner got done making a vaporizer from the local volcano's exhaust he could whip together a 3 course grub medley on a bed of stewed seaweed yea them stoners... and you know something else about another kinda stoner? theres the yabberin' stoner you see the yabberin' stoner if he happens to be stoned he starts talking in nonsensical tangents about the stoners he has discovered on his journey's such as the paint breasted hippy women..."

and that was a glance into the mind of hippysmoke :) night all

i actually had some cola burn from a cfl(not to mention more numerous leaf burns)
new pistils grew around the 'injury', so no loss at all in weight
i think the occasional burn is a cost of business for cfl growers

Chapter unknown: Many changes.

Sorry folks haven't been able to comment much or update here lately been busy as heck but I ended up moving the six outside got a mini harvest not much just enough to toss in the hash pile and the speaker grow box plant is doing better than I ever expected.

101_0334.jpg I am glad I got them out when I did as one of them either hermed or had a survival seed... we'll find out!

And we got the danky some kinda diesel

101_0333.jpg she should be done end of the month, hoping for an oz as I the colas feel nice and dense due to the nice even canopy so all the buds are very close to my 104 watts of cfl goodness.

Thoughts?

Lookin reeeeel nice. My mango girl is at about the same spot as yours, except mine's less dense. Good for you, not so good for me.

what up hippy, the one plant looks great, but what are the 6 little ones?
they were in the cardboard box that I will be using as a clone factory as soon as I get my main grow room back (complicated) sadly they ended up going outside do to a variety of factors including imminent threat of pollenation from a what turned out to definately not just maybe be a hermie.

Thanks everyone for stopping by I appreciate it! Still got a few weeks so hopefully those chunky suckers keep on swelling.

Chapter unknown: The ripenening!

Ok folks just popping in real quick to update as ya may already know harvest the 6 kush's they were going to go to the hash pile but ended up molding... ;( just was too busy to dry them properly

But on the good side I have still be able to tend to the some kinda diesel pretty well.

Last week: 101_0333.jpg and this week: 101_0340.jpg Wow the buds look nice and ripe but I am still hoping to hold off the harvest until the 1st because at this moment I have no place to dry it but will then... that and the trich's are primarily milky but as she is a sativa dominant strain I don't typically wait for brown trichs as with sativa's in my experience IF they will develop brown trichomes (some sativa's won't) it is not necessarily the most optimal time of harvest. 101_0317.jpg it's a friggin ***** to take a picture through my radio shack microscope but trust me... they are cloudy heads with clear bases.

Ok folks coming close to harvest time and I am noticing a severe issue... this lady is entirely organic and I think I misdid the organically fortified soil... from the looks of her the nitrogen values are still incredibly too high I didn't plan to flush her but I am seriously considering it as nitrogen I have find to sometime mess with the peak flavors and it is one of the only nutrients I know of you can flush readily... but on the other side of the coin I need to reveg her so the excess nitrogen would be handy... hrm... any thoughts?

And now 1 last thing... more bud porn. 101_0336.jpg

p.s. the buds are definately putting on the "last lap swell" but the disadvantage of this is normally the growth during this stage is quick and easily noticable but nowhere near as dense. I call the last lap swell the last few weeks before harvest, if your window is correct and you don't early harvest during those three weeks the buds swell like a rose bud opening.

nice update dude!!! i like the new avatar to!!! those things are looking very nice!!! i hope my diesel looks that good in a few weeks!!! It is to my understanding that amber trics are the start of degrading thc. until they turn amber and start bending over you should be fine. if they start to deteriorate and bend over then i would consider an early chop. but honestly i think it will be just fine for two more weeks.... in fact, i bet you will be pleasantly surprised on how huge they will get two weeks from now! I'm not to sure what to say about the N flush.... I don't flush my plants for harvest. but I also don't give them any extra nitrogen during flowering. i fortify my soil about 2-3 weeks before they go into flowering (normally a transplant). I'm interested to know what you choose to do, and the results you find. Keep up the great work!!!!
