ok...if anything if they get too big i can just complety move my intire setup to a taller space..i just dont want to do that cuz i already have it all set up and holes drilled..the less holes drills the better ya know

for sure. idk man, if you flower after you finish the LSTing it would probly be ok, if you want to wait till they are fully 2 months you will probly have to move them. if you turn out to have only one female out of the 2 then you could just LST and LST and LST till the whole space is full, it will keep it short and spread out.

hey guys.plants are growing beautifuly...except today i went to a friends house and one of em decided it was gonna grow a few extra inches so when i got home it was touching the light and burnt it a lil:wall:...but it will be ok...
the main problem i am having is smell...
so unfortunatly im gonna have to move them to my friends house...(wich sucks but its what i have to do)
but im gonna start the on there week of 12/12 for sexing as soon as they get moved...it really sucks tho that i have to move them but its not worth gettin busted for...

7 fingers, perfect maturity to sex. you are having smell problems this early? that must be killer shit, im growing white widow 10 weeks in and the only time i smell anything is when i supercrop or LST it. and only my fingers smell. you could get an odor nutralizer or an ozone generator, they are quiet and small, and with only a few plants should take care of any smell. but hey you gata do what you gata do.

haha ya my room is smelly! haha personaly i enjoy that fact...but ya in the room its just a slight but noticable odor...but then when you open the door its like BAM!
but the one plant has 7 "fingers"..the other one is on its 3rd or 4th set of fans and is still at 5...i think the next one commin in are 7 tho

the bigger older ones develope them later, its just showing how old long the leaf has been growing, the bigger they get the more fingers they have. but yea they are deffinately the right maturity.

ok the plants have been moved to there new home sadly...
but now there safer but does anyone think the water difference will change anything..i dont have a PH test thing either...but i had well water that was ran through a water purifier..and they have city water...
would that make a difference...

just tell them to fill a few milk jug gallons and let them sit with the lid off for a day befor using it, it should be fine.

that will bring up the acidity, the ph will be off. if they have no way to measure the ph of the water, i wouldnt do that.

thats what i was thinkin..but they were sayin it was good for the nutrients and what not...
so ya ill tell them to just keep givin it regular water..
also i have LSTd them...but i wated too long to start cuz the bottom stalk was too thick to bend so i bent it at the top

hi guys my room has 34 plants on 400 watt hps and 3 shoplights. the plants seem to have went through a shock just in flowering. drooping and just general shock. want to sex them so I can go down to half the plants or so. the room has so many plants that you cant see the ground. when they sex enough for me to tell do you think things will get better when I go down to 18 plants or so considering that about half should be male. No bad colors or bugs just they dont look like under the mh light. This is good though they grew alot over the last seven days of hps and 12-12 lighting. I mean alot like 6 inches. temps are good and general knowledge I do have.

anyway...updates...
they have been undner 12/12 lights now for a week..still no sexyness...im goin over there either tonight or tommorrow and doin the second step of LSTing them..(second part tied down..)
im thinkin about just leavin em in 12/12 untill harvest...should I?
also...around how much is a bottle of rooting compound gonna cost me..(smallest bottle available)...
so i havent been postin pics lately i keep forgetin to grab the camera...
i will have more pics on my next update

there is generaly a shock in the transition, shouldnt last too long. as soon as they get more space they will be very happy. it also sounds like they are finishing up the pre flower stage or "streatching" stage. they should be sexing soon.

still lookin good grow wise
still not showin sex yet....gettin there tho
i started LSTing them (but i was drunk and i did it late so its probly sloppy)
the first 2 pics are of one plant
pics 3,4,5 are of the other one
in 5 you can see some light burns but its fine...

my room is jungle plants are in some shock but all is good will they look better once i sex and go down to aboult half. The jungle came on after the hps light was brought in. 10 days into flowering still no signs

when flowering will the plants sprout the male or female parts at the top of the plant first. Where should the process begin. I dont want to mess this part up

i wish i had the budget and the space to set something like that up.....and they havent come out of shock yet?...hmmm....
this is my first grow so im not too sure if sex will show on the tops first or what not...im thinkin just check in between each nodes...

that is a nice setup man! looks like my plants are starting to look, im thinkin the space issue is the problem, do you have some sort of fan or vent blowing fresh air under the plants?
