well, i have a couple theroies on whats going on inside the box. 1, to much intake would create a dead zone where the air wouldnt move and 2, you only need half the intake as you do exhaust so that it sucks the air through the box. i have double the amount of exhaust fans as i do intake. ive played with this for about a a year now and this is the way i got the lowest temps. i think the the fan/carbon filter mounted on would be great, but play with the intake fans, you might only need 1 and a nice size passive. i use 1 90mm fan and that white table fan for intake along with an 8" passive. the exhaust are 3 80mm fans staggered up the othe side with a 10" fan at the top corner. i also have a pipe that runs to my window so that when it was cold here, it drew fresh cold air from outside with a 80mm fan. that worked great, temps were in the low 70's.
That's so legit Lol....do you think the window idea is a bug threat?

I have made some upgrades to the cabinet. I added 2 bathroom fans and started to light proof it with foil tape. I have also lowered the botttom grow area and created some space between the two chambers. Before the top was getting hotter, I am hoping the airspace between them will help keep that down. I have also added a carbon filter to the top fan since that is where the plants will be finishing. here are a couple of pics.

heres some pics of my grand wardrobe box, the biggest problem is heat from the lights, the more bulbs, the more heat. ive had as many as 13 23 and 27 watt bulbs going at once in mine. the temps run about high 70's to low 80's with the fans im using. nice drawing btw. if i did that i would use a big exhaust fan with the filter and only passive intake, it will draw the sir through there. all my fans are on the sides because i use the top to keep all my supplies. i just pulled a little over 4 oz's off 2 plants out of that box. the pic of the big bushy plant is now, a kandy kush from the last plant. these boxes are great for this and i wouldnt grow in anything else.
Thanks, Photoshop, it's what I do. So what would you recommend as far as a big exhaust fan?

i just feel if youre gonna use only 1 fan for exhaust, it needs to be big enough to create a good air flow like a 4" or 6" inline fan with 200 to 500 cfm with the carbon scrubber like this. Inline Fan if you mount that straight up on the top, i would try a 4" to 6" passive intake first and then add intake fans if needed by what your temps are. i wasnt worried about odor so thats why i did my fans the way they are. i like your idea and when this plant is done, i might get a new box, this one is beat up but still works fine and get that fan/scrubber and mess around with it.

I grew some clones in the trunk of a fiero one time and they turned into the best harvest I'd seen in a while! And it was funny because the next week after I took out the clones, the car got towed!

Sweet geezus that's one hell of a filter. I've seen a few DIY posts on here that make something similar. I'm also using the same filter that they're using in their posts and not getting any results so I may have to go with something already made like this. Thanks.

Hey Deej, I wondered what happened to your "mini" Mars lander, LOL. I was lookin' for a tiny Martian under the plant, in the through the door shot! Maybe with a bar of soap! (I know you'll get the joke). Damn good "designer" grow my friend. It's not about production, it's about the novelty and fun of it. Good luck & good grow.......BB

LOL, always happy to post up pix. First, a quick synopsis: Started 15 strains, Dec. 27; took 42 cuts on Feb. 2. The 15 are flowering and the 42 are in a cold frame waiting for warmer weather. The pix:
