First post on rollitup, Here is a setup for you. Started with an old entertainment center and modified it so the entire bottom would be filled with soil. Started by completely dissassembling the cabinet, covering each individual piece with adhesive then shrink wrap to keep the moisture in. Cut a square hole in the top for a custom carbon box filter, thats the part with the chicken wire and fabric. On top of the filter box is a computer fan pulling air out from the top, into a dryer vent and out into open air. Two computer fans in the bottom pulling air in, wired to a seperate transformer so there is a choice between positive or negative air pressure to keep the smell down. The bottom for the soil is completely sealed with aquarium friendly silicone, aside from 9 holes with air tubes for drainage. around the doors is weather stripping so they seal when the door is closed. the whole bottom being filled with soil is ok, only essentially one plant going to be in there, and that one plant is being supercropped.

In the first pic the larger plant is a 1st generation clone, the smaller is a second generation clone. The second pic is into the first week of flower. Three CFL bulbs and one FL plant and aquarium bulb, seems to be working way better than the closet grow went. Will post more pics tonight about 2 weeks into flower, HOLY PISTILS BATMAN!

Yes flowering will be done under the same lights. there are three 2700K CFLs for flower and one FL Plant and aquarium bulb.
The closet grow prior to this one there was a 4foot 2 tube FL, along with the 18inch FL P&A. When the closet grow was flowered, they were some pretty weak and airy buds because the light was too far away so it kept stretching. As soon as the 2700K bulbs were put in, the buds started to fill right out.
So 4 reasons for using CFL. They were free. They seem to work great. Dont have the $$ for HPS, HID, or T5s, Also keeping the power bill down.
I don't knock high quality lights like the T5's or HPS, I used to work in a pet store that sold lots of saltwater fish and corals, so I know they are great.
But for the sake of being in a non-legal area, CFL is the way to go for me.

Roughly into 4weeks of flower, never really kept a log. Definately will for the next grow. Possibly Indicus, grown from bagseed.
Sprouting more seeds to pick the best of the bagseed, not really comfortable with ordering seeds over the net.
This time I will be attempting 2 plants in the same cabinet, supercropped. After supercropping for the first time, i'll never do it any other way

new grower, 1 seed, it sprouted, did it for the hell of it, the seed was 2 years old but some how still worked, 2 cfls, a 950 lumen LED, all in the bath room under the triple cieling light, over the shower stall 6 inches under light, bout 3 inches tall goin on the 3rd set of leaves read most of this forum and i love it, much respect, i actually looked for this kind of site/ forum on google....ttfn pics soon

Yeah man theres still some older folks kicking about bud some have moved on but you will maybe see some familiar names on heres still its changed a bit for example sunny is the admin now not potroast anymore but at its heart its still the same place there is still alot of good people on here mate
