The cycle of racism

People keep confusing socioeconomic problems with either racial or cultural problems so I felt the need to make this thread.

There is nothing about being born a certain race that makes you inferior or superior to anyone else either racially or culturally. The problem is a self perpetuating socioeconomic cycle. The first step in solving this problem is to recognize what the problem is

Racism in America (particularly but not limited to black and latino americans):

1) Lack of economic opportunities in minority neighborhoods creates a culture of crime.

2) People associate crime with race rather than socioeconomic conditions of minority neighborhoods.

3) Minorities get denied economic opportunities because they are associated with crime.

4) go back to step 1 and repeat

I wonder why certain dog breeds are known for being smart, some are known for being aggressive, some are known for being loyal. Yet all of them are still dogs so shouldn't they have the same attributes? I believe there is one racial group who has shown the world over and over again they cannot succeed in large numbers regardless where they live. This same group has the highest number or children outside of marriage and without father figures. This same group has the highest incarceration rate compared to the other groups in proportion to the entire population. I say it's either the culture or genetics.....

you can train the same breed of dog to be vicious and mean or gentle and docile.

you can train disparate breeds to be the exact same.

there is more genetic difference between two random people than there is between an average white and an average black.

because the history channel said it, it must be true

and as i pointed out to the racist fitch, there is more genetic variation between any two random people than there is between the average black and average white, so it is NOT genetics.

they recently discovered that aids is more associated to socioeconomic factors than to race, destroying the long held arguments of racists like fitch.

I said it could be genetics or it could be culture. Who is advocating racial superiority? Did I mention anything about white people being better than anyone else? Orientals do well in this country, Indians do well in this country, Europeans do well in this country, Hispanics do well in this country.......why is it that american blacks seems to be having such a hard time? Apparently white people are racist to everyone else but they seem to be doing fine. I hate black american culture and have no doubt in my mind that it's responsible for the poor condition the black community is in. It's people like you who deny these things that allow this condition to continue.

It is a cultural problem, not because they lack opportunities, but they think their current way of life is acceptable. Get pregnant, have kids, and live off of the government for the rest of your life. The more kids you have, the bigger your check. My mom used to work in housing and told me how there would be several generations just repeating the same cycle of trying to live off the government so they don't have to work. I'm not exclusively talking about black people either because there are many whites/latinos that do it also but that shit needs to stop. Lazy fuckers

see above. if white christians were brought to this country as slaves, kept from voting even after they gained their freedom, discriminated at the workplace, denied loans, and treated unequally, their plight would be the same.

There has always been something within every human that can be contributed to learning and possibly even genetics. When a Saber Tooth chases you, you learn that THAT different thing is BAD. If a tribe raids your tribe, the raiders traits, dress and whatnot are noted. Mankind as a whole to have a natural aversion to things that are different from us. This speaks to certain forms of "racism", such as racial profiling. What a JOKE! I am a former Police Offier and I GUARANTEE you that if you picked 10 random cops, have them watch two men walk down the street, one modestly dressed with clothes that fit, or the other guy whose wearing baggy pants, shirt, and jacket and tell them there was just a robbery around the corner and the only description they were able to get is 6' 200lbs, dark hair. Well, they both roughly fit the description physically. This means they must be questions, so who do you approach first(as in primary suspect)? The cleancut kid first? NO, You check the black guy first. Racism? NOT AT ALL! Is there racism in law enforcement? Of course there is. It's everywhere. Towards all races. I'm white and would love to see all the infighting stop. What's the gov't doing while we argue about who's racist and who's not? Just some food for thought. Does racism exist? Of course it does, in ALL shapes colors and forms. Blacks mad at Mexicans, Black, Mexican, and Asians don't like white people (relocated Americans)

When we continue with the welfare state which does not encourage rewarding success and personal responsibility, people wont try as hard. When you subsidize something you get more of it, we know this. And others have to pay for this out of their pocket.
The entitlement programs need to be cut back. Some should be stopped.

I'm a white guy with mixed race children and I was ever so pleasantly surprised when my children had a black school mate and didn't show any racism towards her. I think it's more than just my influence though, I think that it's the fact that they didn't have it shoved down their throats by the media and news. You can be the most loving parent but if your kids are seeing that a certain race are portrayed a certain way continuously in the media you got a battle on your hands for their morality. Racism continues only because it's taught and gladly accepted. Now it seems acceptable in the west to call Muslims "camel jockies" and even have assholes show up on popular TV shows to make claims that muslims killed "us" at 9'11. Seems like most people only need a little excuse to revert back to nasty when it comes to race and you can blame the media. They're defense is that they don't agree with the point of view of the people they put on the TV but someday people are going to have to call them on their bullshit and say enough is enough. Sadly I don't think Americans have the balls to do that, fuck Americans don't even have the balls to demand their own freedom let alone race equality.
