Do you clean your rez when your plant is that big or do you just drain and refill?
I've been draining & refilling as with the scrog in place there is no access to root area I'm using part of the 8 site waterfarm res. so I have a single plant with 6 gals. Of nutes it takes 1 air pump to run the drip ring & another to circulate nutrients

gotta remember this is my first waterfarm grow & I made classic newbie " boo- boo's" early on but I'm learning & ready to kick it up a notch with what I've learned & im sure the learning curve is not done with me yet I guess that's what keeps me coming back for more I really get fascinated with growing

They seem to be very sativa dominant hybrids and haha its all trial and error I guess, I always just be a bit OCD with PPMs and flushing cos if you damage the roots its hard to come back from it without hurting many factors of the end product.
headband is sativa dominant & stardawg is indica dominant finish time 8-9 weeks I know a lot of sativas 12 weeks or longer

she is turning fast & harvest is close at hand after all the shit I've talked it looks like an ecosunlite light might be a viable option the smell of this has settled into a raspberry breakfast Danish & she is sticky it's looking like 5-7 days till harvest gonna break out the loupe tonight I'm going for all I can wring out of this as "bud" is gonna have to help me out on my light upgrade if I'm gonna make this happen my babies are doing good & branching out after their topping the stardawg is overtaking the headband in height but headband is slightly ahead in overall development gonna start flushing the pinkpanties in a few days we're that close to the chopimage.jpegimage.jpeg

HEADBAND is a very timid almost sickly strain when it's young kinda whispy looking & droopy that all changes after the flip I have grown it before the STARDAWG I grabbed as a back up plant & immediately I'm starting to like how it grows the leaves have no droop & kinda reach towards the light I'm really wishing I was setup with a separate room or grow tent as it looks like something nice to grow & will be a good choice to expand with I'm accumulating materials to do work on my room as soon as I chop image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

FairPlay that headband looks rude even if its drooping. She should pick up Iv had plants go droopy and not hurt yield at the end of it. She might be a nitrogen slut?

that's just the nature of headband but don't let the stooped shoulders fool you she's a lot like skywalker except about 2 weeks after the flip I expect an explosion of growth & she should get busy she is about equal to skywalker in potency except the buds are somewhat larger but not as dense & smellier I've grown her in e&f this is my second attempt at re-acquiring this cut & I think this time I have a legitimate cut also known as 707 headband not to be confused with seed form headband which shares same pedigree but I think their from different cuts of both parents we will see I'm hoping to achieve something close t your skywalker grow which I'm gonna have to go back & study

it was your skywalker grow that really sparked my interest in the waterfarm & now I've almost completed my first grow & ive had help along the way mainly from anon anomous & the stickman not to mention doniawon & this grow is far from ideal but I'll take what I've learned & apply it into my headband grow I'm gonna chop this weekend I'm gonna start flushing tonight

Nice man, yer its all a steep learning curve. I still encounter challenges after 30+ water farm grows. But once you get your method dialled in (its slightly different for everyone) you will never look back.. Well it seems your converted now its cool to have a water farm club going on now here hahaha such an underrated method.. Iv tried them all pretty much and always come back to the 1 plant water farm scrog

harvest time is here as I want my room empty this grow isn't gonna yield large but it's a success no ideas of what I'm gonna yield but these are probably the last pics I'm gonna do some work to my room as the tail end of this next grow is gonna be in cold weather image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Congratulations mate, whats your expected yield?
yield is gonna be low but I knew that going in you can't really tell what I'm gonna get but I'm guessing about 5 zips that's part of the reason I haven't upgraded my light because I've much more to accomplish I want to achieve that 1 lb harvest then add to it with a better light tapping into new technology & " bud" is gonna to finance it so for now I'm going back to things I can change & that is getting a strain & I think www.darkheartnursery.com offers some of the best available to me the headband is first & the stardawg is showing promise as well & it's actually much easier to spend $12.00-$14.00 for a healthy clone as opposed to the whole seed thing the clone scene here in California has really improved lately

I think it's amazing mate that you can just go and pick a strain, and thats a good price as well. People over here charge £15 a clone and they don't know the genetics mostly. I never use clones because of the privacy issue. Nobody knows I grow, so if I went to someone and asked for a clone they would know I grow lol word travels fast and theres some scum bags knocking about, I keep a very low profile!
Hopefully the dicks in charge of Britain will one day see sense and it will be legalised in a similar way to most of your States. Is it like half of the States in the USA have now legalised it in some shape or form?

I have been looking into better light technology. I guess the only viable option is 315w CMH, I would love to try LED but its big bucks.. way out of my budget. I think i will finally look into and by the Phillips cmh for my next grows if I can acquire all the bits easily enough.
