I have been looking into better light technology. I guess the only viable option is 315w CMH, I would love to try LED but its big bucks.. way out of my budget. I think i will finally look into and by the Phillips cmh for my next grows if I can acquire all the bits easily enough.
My next grow will be a replacement of 400w HPS. A single 315w CMH, I have searched and not seen many of these grows, I hope it does the trick and makes people make a decision on whether to switch from HPS to CMH or not. My first grow from a 400w yielded 486 grams, which Is around 1.2 gram per watt. Fingers crossed eh?!!

ah nice mate looks like we are on similar yields and grow methods. Hit me up with a thread when you got it going will be very interested to see how it performs... Iv heard up to 9 degree temp drops (ballast outside cab) and same yields with nice tints to the plant with a fuller spectrum. Cheers!

the yield is gonna be less even that I predicted it's just not there but quality is very high a friend looked at it & wants every grunion I can trim so it's gone my iPad don't have a flash so you can't see the purple specsView attachment 3779916
Don't care mate, you turned that plant around so much, it had the rocky start but the rest of its life was healthy as fuck. If you can give every plant you do the same amount of time and attention you gave her, your bud is going to be unbeatable.
Very well done on this grow, it has been a pleasure to watch and can't wait to see the next lot bloom. Thank you for sharing with us all

thanks stick man rubbing elbows with people like you keeps this fun & interesting I'm really liking that new light you got my problem is that the genetics of that plant just don't yield all that is about to change soon & im working on a vipar spectra led that's just sitting right now I think I'm gonna borrow it for next round it's actual power draw is 550 w. things could get interesting real soon here

Sounds like you are in for a heavy yield mate if you can get your hands on that beast! All the best!

I'm gonna pick up the light soon it's a vipar spectra 1200w. which is actually 550w. Chinese led it was used for 1 grow before he got raided over a domestic dispute & grow found by accident he is now ok but growing on hold for now it should give me an idea of where this led thing is headed I'm gonna veg for a bit with the hps & switch in a few weeks

sour kush is good stuff should be a bit easier to grow than the skywalker & if I were restricted to seeds that would be a solid pic everywhere I encounter cheese people like it & from pics I've seen she grows good

Nice mate. I have got a G13 Labs Blue OG I will attempt first though tbh. (Im building a veg box to kick that off next month so I can keep veg time at minimal in december) It was a freebie from attitude. I am going to order a little selection though next week including RP Sour Kush and this infamous Girl Scout Cookies - wanna see what the hype is about ore than anything. In some recent and cool news I think I will be going back to spain in 6 months with work so will be doing some outdoor as well as indoor, so intrigued how the water farms hold up for you outdoor - although I will be researching outdoor grows in soil and nutrients etc next easter.
