very soon I've gotta pick my next strain & take that trip to the Bay Area to pick up clones gelato is my first pick also considering sunset sherbet as I'm wanting quality but there is a few others I'm considering it's looking like 3 wks. - 1 mo. to harvesting time image.jpeg

as this is winding down the mkultraXbubblegum is getting more attention I've got to give her a decent feeding but not overdo it as she seems to be a light feeder I severely pruned her today I'm starting to like how she's lookingimage.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpegimage.jpeg

Good choices of clones herk! And congrats on the grandson
thanks man did a little research on blue dream that's pretty solid strain I'm about 2 weeks from harvest gonna run the headband first I've grown it before pretty potent goal for next grow is to make the waterfarm/ scrog combo produce & hopefully a 315 cmh/ lec in near future if all goes well & get my room ready for winter as fall is creeping up on usimage.jpeg

as this is winding down I'm just kinda putting my thoughts into perspective & set a few expectations on the final configuration of my room & getting the most out of my grows starting with the easiest thing to change & that's my strain of choice next is gonna be controlling my environment as winter is on the way I'm gonna put in a wall & end up with 4x4 & seal / insulation as I have a ceramic electric heater with a small fan & adjustable thermostat & I'm gonna put it on a timer for lights out heating & lights on I'm gonna see how well the light heats the room during the winter I'm gonna have the ballast in the room as the cmh ballast supposed to get hot effiency/ free heat is good so change is coming soon debating on starting a new thread or just keeping it all right here then there is the matter of this system as is is capable of a lot more than I'm getting people are getting 1 lb. harvests from 400 hps./ waterfarm combos ...I want to be one of them!!!image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

I would love to know how they managed to cross mk ultra x g13 haze and come up with cannatonic, when both strains knock my head off

I got a pound from my last waterfarm harvest under 450 watts of leds.
which led's are you using? my intentions are to get a 315 lec then fire up another grow using led just having a hard time deciding which led or possibly a timber kit bottom line the led's once established & set up offer the lowest operating cost

Some of the older area 51 leds , they are much lesser to run once you pay the initial startup costs.

thanks yodaweed Area 51 used to be the led I thought was best but I just kind of put owning a led to the back of my mind but lately you can't deny the led my days using hps are almost done next light is a 315 lec/ cmh & probably I'm gonna build a led but I have a question in your opinion do you think a good grow could be achieved using the California light works ss 440 I know it don't use cobs but seems like a quality light & have a reasonable price & decent warranty

Yes but they are really expensive, I really like that UV-B T12 they got attached to it too, that's gonna frost your buds up quite a bit more than a normal LED without UV. Here's my last haul from my LED room, it's got some white fire og vegging in it now but this was DNA genetics golden lemons.

golden lemons yielded good for the stickman dna/rp skywalker did good for me a few grows back I think the California light works 440 has the uvb bulb in it as does the 450 amare I've got headband which has done good in the past for me your advice for the waterfarm has been spot on & a good light is gonna be the icing on the cake as I'm getting a little more experienced with dwc your input is greatly appreciated

just kinda cruising along I've really been enjoying the fact that once dialed in the waterfarm is not requiring a lot of attention between feedings & is very predictable harvest is getting close & ive really been fighting the urge to sample me a bud but she still is throwing off some white hairs & continues a slight swelling & I'll take all that I can get image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

had to tie up a few limbs in spite of the screen in these last few weeks hoping my harvest is generous enough to put a 315 cmh in the mix I've got some work to do to my room as winter is around the corner so heat will be necessary if I have to I can run the hps another round as there is room to improve my yield just by strain choice & grower improvement image.jpeg

Looking good mate. Hows your flushing routine been? The sativa strains are particularly difficult to grow in a water farm due to the greater life of the roots and generally keeping them healthy till the end beside all around bigger and thirstier making it more sensitive to plant needs. Those type of buds really surprise me every time on weight (a lot) lol If you grow an indica strain you will see what I mean with the difficulty.

They seem to be very sativa dominant hybrids and haha its all trial and error I guess, I always just be a bit OCD with PPMs and flushing cos if you damage the roots its hard to come back from it without hurting many factors of the end product.
