I've found en.seedfinder.eu to be pretty comprehensive.

yea it is fairly comprehensive but it doesnt have everything. Take a look at my thread in my sig for a preview of qleaner and jillybean, they were given to me slightly in pre flower and i am reveging them right now they stank when i got them but you couldnt dicern the smell yet just stinky. Take a look let me know what pheno you think they might be if you've grown it.

I guess I should have finished my thought on that last post. I find them to be pretty comprehensive, and they seem to be open to direct user input. I've never tried to post there, but I get the impression you can modify their information - kind of like a wiki. See the cut below from http://en.seedfinder.eu/

It seems like they've created a platform for a community-driven cannabis database. That's pretty sweet...

Before throwing my Vortex pheno info in here I think it should be mentioned that while these names and descriptions are my personal take on the phenos..I think what I have is basically slightly different expressions of the "Cosmos" and "Dynamo" phenotypes Subcool wrote about. Anyway...here goes:

Size desc (tall/short) - Short and branchy. Not much stretch.
Flavor profile - Skunk,Rotting,Mango

Yield Desc (heavy/light/ave) - Average-great potential with long veg.
Resin Productions- Insane. 10/10

Yield Desc (heavy/light/ave) - Average
Resin Productions- 9/10 on coverage...but 10/10 on texture. Very Oily

depends on why your trying to do it^^^^ some people are trying to lock down a seed supply for stable breeding that is why you need to backcross and remove different phenos from the gene pool if possible that way it gives you stable dank for crosses giving you more reliable access to those dank phenos that pop out. More dank=mo danka i like this thread. Im out to find a tiny bomb pheno. I need to get subs books so i can have a nice handy guide at my fingertips with pictures of the dank phenos and descriptions. I hate havin to always hop on my comp to find shit. I wish i had books for every thing i know it would be so convenient.... I need to order some space queen....

Yeah,
I used the vertical template a few posts above, I thought it seemed easier to read as well. Also I noticed that the "haze" characteristic was left out of my XmasSpice-Pheno description Randomseed. That is a main part of the plant smells and tastes..hence the name XmasSpice. Just wanted to point that out.

I left out haze because that does not have meaning (to me anyways). I have no idea what "haze" tastes like.
I mean ive smoked Haze but still as a descriptor I dont think it has much meaning? Saying "Kush" or something like that also does not work. Needs to related to something other then another weeds flavor, if that makes sense?

Good point Randomseed. I hadn't thought of it that way. "Spice" itself is a perfect descriptor.

Ok since Im bored as shit at work right now I reformatted the current info for ya's. Also realized we forgot about the most important piece.... potency!


Id like to filter some of the descriptions (resin, size) into some standard descriptors. Id say go with Low/average/high and short/average/tall, its either that or we start using a number scale (1-10).

i think we keep to descriptive terms and not numbers i like it better that way personally. Nice reorginazation much easier to read and for people to fill in info. I think this thread is gonna go somewhere.

The potency on Pink Lemonade is way up there. Three tokes and I'm gravy, and I have a high tolerance. Electric sativa high with a definite munchie-nap crash later on. It's a creeper too. Very easy to over-medicate if you don't pace yourself.

i like the sound of that i need somethin that keeps me up for a bit and then crashes me because if i dont go to sleep ill just keep smoking lol right now thats bad as im in between crops lol... i think its time to start buying pick and mix seeds haha.

Once im able to do a full report on the jilly bean and possibly the qleaner if it reveges ill post some up
