never had a problem with my plushberry. what do you think would cause that problem? very weird that every pheno is attracting critters.. i hate bugs in my garden so i know how you must feel.

Mine are all from seed. I got a 10 pack last february at the cannabis cup.
I really don't know. Its only that strain. Even another one from seed in veg is attracting critters. They only go to that plant. Its weird and very very frustrating. I'm spraying almost every other day. Organic ipm's. There's plenty of lady bugs in there too. All the other strains / plants don't have a single critter. I even cleaned the room thoroughly before moving this batch in there.

hmm that is weird.. personally i would take them out of there just so you dont have to do all that for 1 strain.. im actually thinking about replacing my plushberry with my buddies amazing querkle.. i just got a cut so we will see how she does for me. my plushberry has amazing smell and taste but its not very potent. theres plenty of stuff out there you can replace it with.

I have a space queen pheno thats pretty stony and extremely frosty. It produces the biggest buds of all the pb phenos I have. I do have 5 other seed packs I've yet to pop and I have 10 other strains already in rotation. Its wouldn't be a major loss dropping pb. Since its not available anymore. I kind of want to keep it around. Then again a friend made f2's of pb. I can do it again later. Those might be more resistant to pests.

Don't throw that PB out, you may regret it down the road and when they're gone.....they're gone. Have you tried Mitey Wash? It's the best stuff and it works everytime. Even if they're is no sign of mites, I always spray the last week of veg and then that's it. No probs.

No I have not. I stay away from anything in a bottle. I don't trust them. 99% of the nutrient companies don't disclose all ingredients. All the ones claiming to be organic are actually full of chemicals and heavy metals. I do natural organic ipm's (integrated pest management). rosemary, lavender, nettle, horse tail, neem meal, karanja meal, castile soaps, and beneficial critters (lady bugs, predatory mites,).

Cyanide is organic. Organic does not = healthy!
I don't spray anything outdoors except BT. I have not even used that this season. All of my seed plants have caterpillars (I keep removing them by hand). Between the wasps, ladybugs, lacewings, mantids, and ... my garden outside is pretty clean. Indoors is where I need to work harder to maintain a pest free environment.

I have a lavender plant outside to see if it helps. There is a mantid living in it
Lavender is supposed to deter pests. Last year outside I had a lavender covered with spider mites. Webs on the flowers. When I added the rosemary and mint. They went away. They left the basil too. They haven't been back since.

i heard that too about lavender, also sunflowers are supposed to work
wasps and bees love lavender, i cut a huge lavender bush down recently because of the wasp issue lol

Yes! You can also add plants that attract beneficial predators like ladybugs and mantids. Earthworm compost is also mentioned as a preventative for whiteflies.
I love watching the wasps of various sizes eating the aphids in the spring. In the summer about this time of year I get these blue wasps that go around hunting under hiden places to get spiders. It is so cool!
The metallic-blue mud dauber, another sphecid, forgoes building a nest altogether and simply uses the abandoned nests of the other two species and preys primarily on spiders, including black widow spiders.[2] Blue mud daubers frequently appropriate old nests of black-and-yellow mud daubers. They carry water to them and recondition them for their own purposes. The two species commonly occupy the same barns, porches, or other nest sites.

I've had problems with spider mites, and I also enjoy gardening outdoors. But I could not find a cannabis companion guide.
Now, the point I'm trying to figure out is, do the companion plants attract beneficial insects?
Or are the pests you are trying to get rid of deterred by the rosemary and mint's smell? It would be helpful for indoor gardeners.
Or just in general knowledge would be cool. So spider mites do not like minty smells?
