Mint grows quick as shit in bright light, and is lovely in the spring and summertime. Rosemary is very slow growing, so if it is the scent that deters the pests then Rosemary would be better kept in an indoor situation, if someone has space restraints. You can also divide root stocks when they get big, clone the same way also. Or take a few cuttings and stick them in the same pot you got your pot in lol. Just a few high deep thoughts, by Jack Handey.

Has anyone noticed their strains taking longer than others?
It seems when everyone says 6-8 weeks I end up adding another 2-3 weeks onto it.
Could that be from the lighting? What is your lighting situation Mason Jar?

Ive tried
Purple kush. Out of 5 seeds i got one decent plant. Yielded crap like 30grams.

Pink kush.out of 5 seeds i got two weak ass seedlings that stopped growing at around 10"
I will be lucky to get 20grams.

Chernobyl wasnt as bad all the seeds cracked but only two plants looked worth keeping. One yielded 100grams the other about 125.

All three were not on my list of strains that i wanted to try and i gave a friend the benefit of the doubt and tried them but i will not be tryin anymore

Dealing with the same. Never had two seeds from one breeder grow so poorly at the same time.

all my rosemary plants from bristol farms died. Don't buy them there. They had root rot. I picked up a peppermint, oregano, rosemary, and chocolate mint at homne deps earlier today

I think I have only had one TGA seed not pop. The clones root faster than any plant I have ever grown and the frost is off the charts. Jesus OG can't be trimmed it is so sticky!
I know. I know. That is what I'm waiting for; a solid mother plant. Might just start JC2 and be done with it.

at last some update from my ace of spades X Agent Orange.
I'm very impressed by this little bastard, super frost, super lemon, good sativa indica mix.
No nanners at 50 days and she will be harvested between 55 and 60 days.

a few amber and a lot of cloudy trichomes, yummy yummy!

First shot is wide but ugly, next are close and better [taken with my new handycam sony HDR-cx240]
I have several blue plastic layers to help me with white balance and hps light... I'm still not decided on which blue is the best one.
stop yayadada yadaz, it's Showtime!

@Mohican

Your question is very welcome. because this one is the first try with this method!

I reuse old mix [originaly made with 2/3 of light mix and 1/3 of coco soil].
I simply add my compost [2/3 used soil for 1/3 of compost].

I was tired and not confident with guano tea so:
When they enter in 12/12 light, I cover the top of the soil with guanokalong powder[NPK 1-10-1] I have calculated 8 grams per liter of soil.
i.e: smart pot #3 can contain 11Liters of soil... 8 X 11 = 88grams
I then top the guano powder with a few lombricompost [not homemade] just to cover guano.
then I put some water to moist the top and activate the guano

with the usual guanokalong powder the npk is 2-15-2, then I would give 7 to 7.5grams per liter of soil.

When the girls have one month into flowering, I add comfrey liquid manure diluted into rain water [1L of manure for 9L of water].
I have found a brand that do it right and fully organik.

once around 28 and 35 days of 12/12 and another time around 45 and 50 days.
I have not (yet) found my own K source so the comfrey manure is very handy even If I would like to add this into the soil and making it my super soil for the girls.

Last but not least, about compost, in my garden I have some borage, chelidoine, bindweed dandelions, they are feeding my compost with very good nutriments.

I have in mind to grow those adventitious specially for my cannabis growing, they would be the perfect feed source.
borage like comfrey is a tough source of K.
dandelions are rich with P [maybe a good alternative to the guano]

Going organik is rewarding all efforts I made to understand how life is going in the soil and how the plants are feeding from the soil life.
