Statistic Proof Of God

If in this universe everything is possible, then nothing exists and existing is just a burden. Imagine in a thousand years when people will be following/worshipping the Lord of The Rings as Christians/Islams/Religions in general follow their specific books of beliefs. Good and Evil doesn't exist it simply is a way of controlling the inner cave-man inside "us." If good and evil existed, we'd be born into it and wouldn't have to be taught it and on top of that we'd be seeing it in nature, goes the same with religion. You don't see an infant worshopping an "idol" or an animal worshipping ever. Religion is simply a way of living that gives hope to an afterlife and attempts to put a meaning on living. If there was an afterlife there would be no point in living. That's exactly what religion is, an Idol, something to look up to, false hope, if the common Joe can't process non-conformed information then if he finds out life is actually pointless, (a cycle of recycling elements) he won't want to live.

Remember that the vast majority of all religions were "invented" at a time when man was quite inadequate in science and in dealing with the constant chaos that is Nature.

Here's a kick of a thought....so the earth is 6 billion years old... and G*D waited all that time to put us on the earth...right? But it gets better!! Our solar system is actually quite new compared to the rest of the Galaxy which is far far older...and of course the rest of the Universe is even older than that....what the heck was G*D waiting on?

IF God is real in other dimensions, then who created God withing said dimensions? Who created those dimensions? I'm an agnostic for sure...but when I'm sittin on the toilet, trying to push out some painful rotgut, I pray to God, Jesus, David Koresh, and whomever else might be able to work that nasty f*cker out for me.

i guess how i see the whole thing is, God, if he/she exists, is everything, nothing, and all in between. evolution, proof of our universes age, these things aren't disproof of god, they are only disproof of the feeble minds 2-3 thousand years ago that wrote those stories.

in the end, if such an omnipotent being truly exists/existed, i highly doubt something like evolution, or traveling between what WE consider dimensions, is not much of a task for 'it'. maybe it just went into things with a well thought out plan?

p.s. iam agnostic as far as i can tell, even after the above sentence. as much as i think our existence may all but require something like a god, i can never find myself believing in stories written by men, huddled around fires in caves or in deserts, with a far lower iq than me (on average), with less understanding of the world around them. it will take hard evidence, nothing short of meeting the man/woman (god) myself before i can take IT as fact. i just hope if that day comes its not already too late! haha

i think we all should have our own personal religion. instead of grouping into masses and killing each other over population-control brainwashing.

Humans love group think...and it has gotten us all the way here. Religion is simply a negative offshoot and extension of group think...but instead of using logic....it uses superstition...something man is still plagued by.

If you think that God wrote the bible or it was a descendant of God whom he had write the bible you are dead wrong, some dude wrote the bible just like the harry potter books.
It is a simple way to control people, and to get there money. (lets tell people that if they sin they will go to hell, but if you are an angel you wil go to heaven) Don't forget to donate to the church as it will help pay for the priests mortgage and legal costs !
When do you see any of that money actually go to a good use !! The food is supplied free the daycare in churches are by volunteer, none of the choir gets paid..the utilities are donated on behalf of the city.
Where does the billions of dollars go every year that are collected on behalf of these churches ??

^^^ sooo wrong...I mean shit I left the church behind years ago, but heres the truth..because talking shit isnt solving anything, if you want to contribute at least have the correct facts.

I hate to say but, God didnt write the bible, nor did any descendant..If we believe whats written many people contributed. (in fact, there is many smaller books, each physically its own volume..."The Bible" means "book of books".

Also Angels are not something we should strive to be...Angels are servants of God..they wipe his ass kinda thing..its said that we are his children, and children are much higher than servants.

The foods all donated yes, as is pretty much everything...the money donated, and the money made in the canteen or any other fundraising efforts go on sending missionaries to other countries, and helping out people who need it etc. (Im not saying this is any better than car payments lol..but its the truth at least)

The church is a group of people who are quite frankly mentally unstable. They speak to a being that doesnt exist regularly, and not only that but they believe this imaginary being has control of their life...even when there hasnt been a single shred of evidence to support it...

If God is willing to defeat evil but not able, He is not omnipotent. If He is able but not willing, He is apathetic. If He is both willing and able, why is there evil? If He is neither willing nor able, why call Him God?

I was a youth leader at church for a while in my early 20s, and I never really believed it all but I did go with an open mind, I always asked the questions i had and I guess thats what got me evicted in the end...they dont like you creating doubt in the minds of their followers.

The church isnt a bad place...if you ignore the religion its just a co-operative of very close family friends...its just a pity people have to ruin it with religious views, wars over Gods and land and profiteering bullshit.

As far as the comment about priests and children, there are child molesters from every career, judges, police, pilots, surgeons etc...the priests are just the most shocking because people envision them as celibate and well fucking infallible...who would have thought the PRIEST would break the law!

Bottom line, I agree - ish. In a world of infinite alternate universes yes, there MUST be a planet where the majority of the population "worship" a being who is likely much more powerful or intelligent than they are.

But i dont believe that being is the deity for all universes, nor do i think the planet and universe we are in has a deity at all.
