holy cow. Industrial style mo.

my outdoor is putting on buds.

Was thinking about how I would convert the cabinet. I think 5 of these from the top:

Then I would use these to drive them.

Probably some big cpu heatsinks and fans too.

They would be 80-90w each one. I already have most of what I need for the veg light in the bottom of the cabinet so the top portion will be all thats left to engineer.

Awesome! Do you know what"BIN" means? I see it referred to in many of the COB discussions.

it refers to the quality level of the production run. So some "bins" are better than others. All pretty good TBH in what we are trying to do.

These are like less than a week in flower. Threw them in after they rooted to fill space up. its a 3 in 1.

Lookin good as always! Im pretty sure im going to make a few of those "beams" if you will in the near future. Once i get everything to upgrade my rooms which im mostly through. Itd be nice to have some whites with the blues/reds that my leds are. Im pretty sure theres some warm whites in the panels too but not enough.

So if you plan on making some more around that time ill see if you want to go in on all the LEDs because sometimes you can get them at a better price if you buy more. Or deflect somtimes high shipping costs.

no price breaks really till you buy a ton. shipping is nothing honestly for the cobs. For now the next step is to convert the cabinet but i will probably just put 5 vero 29's in that one and driver them at 80w each. That will wait though as I have to wait for all this to finish... LOL

For sure i just know back when people were startin makin their own led panels a lot of sites wouldnt ship under X without a large fee. But that was also for 1w/3w/5w chips so it made sense since theyre much cheaper.

I wanna look at some bridgelux cobs too. Maybe save a few bucks without getting that much worse performance. Those are the brand chips that are in the led panels i have now (except different spectrum) and they work mighty fine for me!
