ALSO!! I have those 4 21w sylvania par 38's. I tore one down and took out the cob and they driver. I am kicking around putting two of these in each of the bars I already built. Those added to the bar I am going to build with 4 vero18's should be plenty of power for flower! about 500w I think.

I have some grow questions for you. In your before and after pics of the clones during your trip, do you have an automated watering system?

My other question is - how are the plants under the LEDs looking today? Before and After?

Thats awesome! You gonna put the 2700k bar in the middle and the 2 other ones on each side??

Cant wait to see that! Have you tested how close you can get the lights yet?? Or how close you can get while having a good spread?

I had an auto watering system I slapped together before I left. That was before installing it and then after taking it apart.... LOL! I need to get a more permanent type of auto feed setup but its always a question of spare time.

The plants look great. I just need to snap a pic They are all tied down to the screen now but there is quite a few new shoots coming up. once they all hit the rez on thier 5gl buckets Im in business.. LOL

thats the idea I think bud! :-)

I was at about 7" from the screen for a few days but the last few I have been at 12". I think I can get to about 6" without having too many hot spots. at 8-12" though there doesn't seem to be any hot spots. I think when the temperatures start dropping the plants will do better. I wouldn't even consider running the hps in the tent right now so thats something eh? :-)

I have been! BTW. Raised lights to 17" in the tent and things seems to be doing really well. When the 3rd bar gets built I get to flip this sucker. :-)

so... Thought you guys might get a kick outta my outdoor..

very back is engineers dream and its tall. next is dog that is tall and lanky like an og. closest is the deep psychosis bush. Those three are about 3weeks in flower. The other little two up front are extra ak47 clones I threw out there this weekend.

I like my ghetto greenhouse. Keeps things a little private there on the side of the house.

The stuff in the pictures above is just plastic sheeting. I needed to protect my little spot from prying eyes.... both sides and bottom are fairly open and they have actually seem to do a little better under there.

On the back porch I just used the quantity shade cloth they sell at the homedepot and got the grommet kits for it and there ya go. They have several different colors to choose from.

LOL! My nutirent line already supplies alot of it. I do supplement with a cal mag I have from humbolt nutrients. Seems to do the trick. The Flora grow keeps them looking green too. :-) I havent used cal mag plus in a long time. I have noticed that they take nutrients really well under the led. so excited to play this first round out!

I think the real magic in the CalMag is the iron. Everybody forgets about the iron. Because there is no heat (much less heat), you can have black leaves packed with nutes. Usually the heat absorbed by over-nuted dark leaves is counter productive. But in the case of LEDs it is actually needed. Try it on one and see what happens.

The calmag I am currently using is a commercial brand I got from OC Farm Supply and it smells of aspirin.

Maybe I could try a bit from you? like 10ml or something? I could see that. MUCH less heat than hps thats for sure. 400w led running side by side 400w hps and led is way cooler room temp wise. no ac in tent. Ac running in hps cabinet to stay at 80.

I think I am hooking up with HY...... hopefully sunday. We have a clone exchange going! :-)
