Hey everyone! I have been developing my system for a bit now. I have tried almost every type of growing and what I currently use is pretty much what I intend to stick with. All in all I have been at this for about 6 years. I would like to think I have learned a thing or two and maybe this will help others in their fight for their life/health/fun, whatever.

I am starting this by documenting the refurb of my cabinet and once it is rebuilt I will continue on with the first grow. Here are the specs:

BASICS
-Sealed DIY metal cabinet grow
-Hempy buckets my way :)
-Perpetual cabinet setup for clone, veg, flower
-using a wide assortment of nutrients really and I will TRY to be clear about feeding schedule etc.. but don't count on it.. LOL

Genetics (these are essentially moms that will be flowered)
-Blue Dream

-Diablo OG
image 6.jpg
-Bog's Sour Bubble
image 5.jpg
-Probably pick up something else from clone soon
**I will probably add a few more when I get a mother cabinet built**

Cabinet (rebuild in progress)
-250-600w hps digital balast
-6" cool-tube mounted vertically cooled by 6" vortec
-A/C
-6" Carbon filter and vortec fan set to refresh air every hour
-muffin fans for veg chamber exhaust
-200+w CFL fixture for veg
-small t-5 for clones
-on wheels
-about 36" w 24" d and about 6+' tall

They are in 3g hempy buckets with about 3" of hysdroton at the bottom and then straight perlite. The are being trained so they all branch more for taking clones. Once clones are rooted I will transplant into 5g buckets and flower them out. I intend to pick up a 4th of something from somewhere as the cabinet is being designed to hold 4 plants in 5g buckets. :-)

hbbum,

Thanks a lot. I have been working on this for many years and am finally putting together a finished product to use. Hope you enjoy the show... slow as it goes anyhow. :-) At least I am finally getting towards the end of this build. Those plants are ready to give up some clones and get flowered.

How tall is that top space? Is the horizontal divider removable in the event you wanted to expand to the full 6'?

Its pretty close to 3'x3'x2'. I cannot change the size as the seperation is not movable. It will make a bit more sense soon when the vertical scrog screen goes in. Thanks for joining in. Ill keep updating as i get things done. Im highly motivated to get the maiden voyage underway.

Wired the cabinet. Moved the girls into the new home. Still some work to do but the cabinet should be 100% operational this week. I have a new project too! Mom cabinet out of a chest freezer. :-).

I like this setup, curious to see how the top works out as far as how you get your plants in and out and how the girls like the vertical lighting. Very nice craftsmanship from what I can see.

I can't believe how big moms get (the human kind). Wife showed me a picture from right before she gave birth, I yelled. How on earth is that even possible. hahaha.

What are you using to cut the metal of the cab? Looks like a fun project. How many plants you planning on running in the flower area? Sorry if you already said.
